I have booked a second hotel room for SB. This is for those who are rolling with me and Dave in the van (gotta help my brother out on some RL shit so no plane flight for me). The total cost is $310. I would need your contribution prior to the trip, but I will figure out the math once I figure out who is rolling with us.
Drew - hmm I already had a room booked for friday and saturday night so one of us will have to cancel one of the rooms. Also I plan on leaving thursday evening right after work unless i’m able to get thursday off then i’ll leave earlier. I also was going to charge everybody who went in the van 50 bucks each, which would cover the ride there/ride back and hotel room.
I will go ahead and cancel mine Dave. Didn’t know you already had it handled. Thanks for the heads up. Let us know if you get that Thursday off, I’m hoping AE pools don’t start that Friday.

Thanks man. I just accepted. I was trying to find the event in tournament events on srk and couldnt find it. glad omaha wasn’t pulling my leg by having me drive there for no tourney lmao. anyways it looks like 11 of us are going.
I doubt all but 2 or 3 of you know me (unless you remember me trolling, ho ho ho), but if any of you were around for the old TZ days (btw, TZ fucking blows now) then you can join up in the midwestCIRQUE team on PS3. Or, if you wanna join anyway, go for it. Unless you guy’s have a TTT2 KC team already.
Just trying to meet some new folks and get back into Tekken. I haven’t played competitively (or even “seriously”) in roughly 6 years or so, and it definitely shows. Would be cool to play casual games online (yea yea, it’s awful I know) with a few folks. Scene locally is literally dead.

It was a fun tourney. I dropped a lot of combos, but it was still good to see everyone and get to play some games when I could. Wish I was closer to everyone because driving 2 1/2 hours just to get in casual games sucks. Wish there were more players in my area.

Yo! I’m totally digging on TTT2. I picked up T6 when it released expecting to get back into Tekken, and it just didn’t “click” with me. I literally haven’t been able to put TTT2 down. I’m super rusty (not that I was ever great) but I still love it. It’s the most feature complete Tekken ever released, and WTF (World Tekken Federation) is incredible as a learning tool to target your weaknesses. Let me know if you pick it up man! I’m really trying to get the Midwest Cirque going again (somewhat?). It’d be awesome to get some games in online and hopefully do a tourney like we USED to do. Good hearing from you dude!

The entire Manhattan crew is gone. There’s a really strong scene in KC though, and I hear Wichita still has some folks who play. Stinks you’re not here anymore, it’d be cool to go get drunk and do Hadoukens all over town.
