used this at evo… i know there was one exactly like it that did ps2 AND ps3 to xbox. i believe the usb-in port is where you plug in. this was for ps3 TE’s tho - not sure how you would do ps3 sixaxis tho…

Hey guys, I posted this on the Facebook group but I’ll post here too. I’m going to Final Round and can provide transportation to the airport and back(I’ll use one of the park stations that has the bus take you to the airport). My car seats five people and has a big trunk for storing luggage/whatever. So far it sounds like Le and I for sure with Chad as a maybe. Just let me know guys.
We got over a month of planning time but if we could get something worked out it would be cool.

Who would like to see the return of weeklies?
My free night of the week right now is Monday. I have class until 8:15, but could be somewhere to start setting up by about 8:30. I’m getting ready to start doing the groundwork, because monthlies are great, and work as an excellent measuring stick for how far we’ve all come, but hookups are very relaxed, and we’re not getting the hype matches involved in them that I’d like to be seeing.
That said, I’m happy to try and set something up for Monday nights somewhere. I’ll talk to my roommates about doing it here, but likely, I’ll have to find us a tolerant venue. How does Monday work for everyone? Would people be willing to show up?

As for FR… we’ll see how the next few weeks go financially. I just spent 700 bucks for my class + books, so I’m a bit light right now.

I do like the idea of weeklies, but I’ll have to see about my new schedule. I’ve put in my 2 weeks at my current job, and have an interview with a new one. Not sure what will come of it, but I’d like to start doing them. Also, might not be able to make it to MO. Had to do some car repairs, so I’m fucking broke.

Anyways, on to business. I have a serious question for everyone, since this applies to the vast majority. As of now, I play every fighting game on pad (which goes without saying). What needs to be said is that KoF is ungodly annoying on pad. Thus, I want to try playing it on stick.
Now, I realize that there is a learning curve, as this is quite obvious. I just want to know what I’m looking at considering as how I have trouble with Street Fighter on stick, and KoF is much more difficult IMO. Is it worth it? I’d feel stupid plunking down for a stick just to find I’m horrendous with it and learn nothing.
This has probably been addressed before, but I’m only planning on learning stick for this game (and maybe MvC3 depending). Opinions? Thoughs?
