Hey, just because I doubt many people actually go to the tournament thread Le or John need to update Challonge if you’re planning on using it. It’s only showing the March 10th games so there is no way to pre-sign up for this coming Maxout.
Also, we need a Skullgirls tournament.
I’m going to adjust the lineup.
Skullgirls will be in there. We’ll just omit the SFxT 1v1 tournament. It will still go on, it’s just going to be 2v2 teams only.
My ‘schtick’ is that my gaming hookups involve a rather high quality meal at an affordable price and I have weekly monday hookups(and pretty much have 3-4 hookups a week) IF you want to make it to STL. I tend to make some high brow shit, mostly french food with a bit of fusion, and it’s always under ten bucks. You ever gotten a resturaunt quality filet migon and it only cost you seven bucks? yeah, it’s kinda like that 
If we’d have to do como, well. I’ll talk to Shekeib but as of right now the part about my STL hookups is all I have to discuss at the moment.
Alright guys: primer for “Marvelous Mondays”.
My last day of classes is May 18th, and I’ll be attending UFGT8 the next week, when I get back from that, I’ll start hosting a UMvC3 centric hookup at my place, every Monday usually (although still check this page/SRK to see if its happening, just like other hookups) at my place for the duration of the summer. I live down right down the street from Quasimodo’s, and these hookups will most likely run from 6 or 7 pm to 2 or 3 am, not too late but enough for some solid play for 6 or 7 hours. We’ll be in the basement which is big, has a big HD CRT TV for games, and lots of outlets, chairs, and couches for setups. Also there is a fridge stocked with booze/soda and a bathroom down there. I just ask that we keep the noise level down a bit so we don’t piss off my mom and sister and they’ll continue to green light me having these.
Its still a month off but I’m really looking forward to it! Hope all the Marvel heads of KC show up!
My idea to use challonge to get everyone to preregs isnt working at all. Probably because I didnt really add a easy pay site or probably bc there no reward for doing it. So i guess i just update it and register everyone at the tourney
ATTENTION : Important announcement regarding MAXOUT this weekend :
As of right now, the fate of my job and our venue are uncertain. It may be that Quasimodo’s is ‘moving in a different direction’. What this could mean is that all of the employees currently working there, may all be terminated, which would also mean the end this being our venue.
I am waiting on confirmation on whether or not I am even still employed, but the issue for all of you, is that MAXOUT will NOT be held at this venue.
What this could mean :
- MAXOUT will NOT happen on the 21st of this month, and will be suspended until a new venue is figured out.
-MAXOUT WILL happen on the 21st, but will be held at a different location.
I am still in shock, and don’t know specifics, but this is the way things look as of now. I’ll try to secure a new venue before this Saturday, so that those of you who had to ask off work, won’t be doing so for naught.
I’m really sorry guys. This was completely out of my hands, and I didn’t even know about it till just now. I’ll have more information for you as it becomes available to me.
Figured it out. For this month, we have moved the tournament to a new venue. Whether this will be a permanent home or not, we’ll see. All details have been updated and changed in the tournament thread, and on the facebook event page.

My friend and I are saving up for Evo. I have $300 saved up so far.
We were kind of looking to go with KC and we’d be glad to chip in.

I want to make it, but the tickets there from Newton (right outside Wichita) to Chicago are stupid expensive. The tickets from KC to Chicago are waaaay cheaper, though.

What’s up everyone? Some what new to the fighting game scene. Hopefully I can get good enough to make it out to one of these hookups and eventually maxout. I’m currently playing SSF4 AE and SFxT on ps3. I sent my request to be apart of the Facebook group so who ever admins the group add me.

Off topic but I’m sure one of you hooligans has the answer to this question. I was driving around KC last weekend and I drove down a one-way street ><. Was trying out the GPS on my phone and it said take a left on Paseo, so I did. Didn’t realized until I was in the lane that traffic was heading towards me and the turn I should have made was actually a few meters down. I glanced back and I think I saw a camera but I’m not sure. My question is how long does it take before you receive a ticket in the mail? Getting tired of nervously checking my mailbox every morning.
It takes about 6 weeks at the latest so you won’t know your in the clear for a while man. good luck
