Budd Park 3 will be AE 2012. $20 entry. Please get me your registration money by Friday. Post up here to confirm, and be sure to get at me with the money by then.
EDIT :
I’ve been thinking, and I would like to supplement BP3 with KOF being a side by side feature with AE. $10 entry FT5, so see who the real deal best KOF player in KC is. I know you KOF heads would be down with this. I’ll run the brackets along side one another leading up to next months Maxout. This will give people 2 tournaments to be hype about, instead of just one. KOF is already a grueling game, so doing FT5 seems more reasonable than FT10 (which would make every match take over an hour)
**SO, that said, I’m going to make an executive decision to do Budd Park 3 as a double header. KOF is a great game, and deserves representation. Perhaps seeing the cities better players in action in this game will motivate people to get in on it. **
Main headliner SFAE2012 FT10 $20 buy in high stakes tournament. Feature tournament KOF XIII FT5 $10 buy in tournament.
With that said, again, deadline for registration for these will be by the end of Friday nights hookup. Brackets will begin at the beginning of next week. (Feb 20th)
speaking of the RR - so what i have done is taken the results of the RR and made grades – so no rank, just grades. also i’ve set my little system up 3 ways.1) grade from single RR 2) grade from completed RRs only 3) grade from all RRs including incomplete aka ‘OVERALL ALLTIME Grade’
for example: jspot 1) 2/9/2012 = 100% = SS 2) since 2/9/2012 is the only completed RR = SS 3) my total record is 17-3 and thats RR on 2/9 and 1/28 so i have a B 85%. trying to figure out how to have this up online and have it auto update. i guess i could just make a facebook group doc…and do all the work etc etc etc
i DO see the issue here where if you attend more or even happen to get in more matches in an incomplete RR, it can skew your grade one way or another. The reasoning i have to allow this is that back in the day we tried to top that high score at the arcade all the time… we just at least wanted to be on that top 10 page during the machines demo… so i give you the JSPOT top ten screen if you will. and then i have obvious letter grade attached just in case we wanna broadly rank ourselves for a “big kids/childrens table” type grinding rotation.
just a lil extra fun to add to the Thursday Night Sissy Fights.
EDIT 2: prodigital, you owe me:

I disagree, I think his combos are pretty much the same as they were in CS2 but you get rewarded for doing the same thing damage wise. Throw in additional usage of 6B and they’re pretty comparable to CS2.
CS2 Ragna wasn’t really hard to begin with anyway, but I don’t think his execution is any easier in this version. Just as Deron said, damage all day.
