shrug kinda hard when you yourself made more of an improvement over a weekend like you said and made the p2p client, when kaillera has sucked for over 9 years. dunno about everyone else, but it sure screams lack of an effort to me.

Theres better clients out there, but they probably wouldn’t have been made if it wasn’t for kaillera popularizing it. Dunno if damdai would agree about that. Seems like a cool guy, I think he would.
Kaillera development was stopped soon after it was up and running. Christophe didn’t have the time or the will to work on this project after he got his job at nullsoft and only had the time to sell it to Etai. Since Etai is a businessman, I only imagine him throwing money at some cheap programmer to modify his source code. Nothing has been released so far so it’s safe to assume he hasn’t done that either and does not have the will. So I don’t know if you could label this as lack of efforts. There is no magic to it, its just not in the right hands.
Anyways, its only normal for people to care for kaillera despite 2df and ggpo. Its no rocket science…Its just that the world consists of more fools than a few who are into a few fighters of a few platforms supported by those two programs.
