Nagata Lock II, if you don’t mind me asking your advice, how are you handling situations where people just can’t seem to get any sort of results at all because they can’t even play a real, stable game? Like suppose you happen to have 2 players that just keep desynching over and over and over again when they play each other, resulting in a “no contest” type of outcome. What would you do as tourney organizer?
I mean, desynchs do happen in 3s too, right? 
It’s pretty rare to come across a situation where both P2P and multiple servers don’t work for a stable connection for a single game. It’s one of the big reasons why I prefer east coast only players for these things because they all have a similar ping and make for the easiest P2P. I’ll be honest in saying I don’t have a protocol in place for this scenario but I’ll figure out something amicable to the players involved.
nagata i also have a question.
i played with people on nfba and it is preffered by most i know, i havent came across anyone that has had problems with it or disliked it or liked mame over it. can we use that as the official emulator?
