I agree with this one. Daigo only comes to america maybe once or twice a year and there are a bunch of top players that never have a chance to play against him.
Daigo won the world gamestop exhibition tourney (though he didn’t technically qualify). By going thru a gauntlet of the top american players we will truly see how good he really is.
Come on dude, if it’s the final 16, obviously Daigo is only going to play 4 of them at most.

Evo2k4… daigo is at his prime in cvs2 and beasting all over Japan… pretty much everyone predicted daigo to make top 8 for cvs2 but after qualifying his pool he was soon taken out by two of ec’s finest turtles. Kind of my point, if Daigo doesnt make it to the Evo quaterfinals, why should he get the oppotunity to face the top 10 US players. If he does, why would you want to see him play the top american players again?
The Justin vs Valle match is interesting only if they dont face each other at all in the main tournament.
Isn’t it a match that they’re doing themselves? It’s not like people are saying “hey will you two play each other?”, it’s them playing each other to see who’s better on the side for cash, not sure why people are saying they can’t do this or shouldn’t, it’s all on them if they want to or not.
