in conclusion:
Justin just wants people to suck his dick and worship him as a “god”, And sadly, some of you lost souls (again, mostly biased ECs) are giving him what he basically wanted out of being a professional gamer in the first place.
2007 showed us that we should be careful with what we hype. There was crazy hype for the event that led to 4 predictable results and a close CvS2 match.
I’m sure if we posted (X top player vs Y top player) it would be auto-hype, but I dont see anything that makes this match stand out from the actual tournament. This match is only exciting if one of them don’t make top 8.
Maybe if you had like, Justin vs (Someone) in SF4 both playing random select or Valle vs Daigo in the whole SF series or Watson/Valle/Justin vs Daigo/Nuki/Tokido in SF2+SF3+SF4 it would be different from the tournament, have the name recognition, and still be hype.
