Justin Wong leaves EMP for EG with Marn

Let me get this straight…

Shinjo is just saying that the current trash talking thats going on is filled with retarded phrases, and they have been butchered to death. I agree 100%. I was using salty when i was in 5th grade…its not very creative. On blast and free were funny the first 500 times, not the last 2000. This is getting as bad as the Gears of War community, which was filled with variations of:

“GET RAPED/BODIED/SCRAPED/TRASHED”
"FUCKIN SCRUB"
any combo of “GET ___'D YOU FUCKING SCRUB”
“GET YOUTUBE’D”

ok so you are basically “over it” with the current trash talk phrases. Ok i get that, to each his own. but does that have any bearing on this Justin/EMP/EG stuff?? I dont see the connection. but I do understand What Shinjo and Magnetro are saying.
I just think we give OUR players too hard a time.

EVO 2k4, Justin beats Raoh. J goes for the hand shake and Raoh waves him off and walks away full of that japanese salt. nobody was up in arms then. thats just one of many examples. The trash talk is everywhere

maybe someone qualified will break it down

For anyone who watches the EMP Stream’s you would know that MARN and Justin have already signed a contract previously for that movie. Also i don’t think justin did this solely for marn, I think he did it from more of a business standpoint more money, salary and gets to play game’s legit decision however how he left the ARC was pretty terrible. But sometimes you gotta do what’s right for you to make that money just like Triforce, Justin has rent and bills to pay.

I don’t know if Triforce has really commented much on it, Hopefully he will

Grats to Justin and Marn… living the dream.

Also I just wanted to say that the whole “pot monster” / “stay free” thing is really retarded. If you look up old Battlefield Arcadia tournaments (hosted by EMP) you’ll hear some of the commentators talking about the new players like: “Haha this dude just wasted 20 dollars, this shit is HELLA free, this dude is getting JIZZED on”. I bet after getting his asskicked at that tournament he said “Fuck this, I’m not coming back and letting these guys take my money”. While the commentary may have been entertaining, at the end of the day it made them lose possible venue fees and pot money (which go towards paying rent). If I was in EMP / a pro gamer, I’d make it my mission to personally welcome newcomers to my tournament, offer them tips, and let them know that they’re welcome here. I’d do that because they’re basically customers, if you make fun of your customers and call them “free pot monsters” they’re probably not going to come back to your store… erm tournament.

though i dont want to push this any further i hope that you are aware that justin is vice president of the company and signed an executive contract which has diffrent terms than the standard player contract… like i said earlier, im going to remain neutral in the situuation until everything is brought to light. and by legaly i meant at the discreetness of a representative of eg and triforce, reaching an agreement to sign justin over. a player cant just up and leave the nets for the knicks without notifying his team manager and having both mangers meet to arrange the transfer right? with marn, triforce discussed it with him and they both came to an agreement. the way everyone is acting now i dont think justin went to triforce and discussed the situation before taking action

Nominated for an article.

I think the real question is this: When someone in Empire starts a big fight at a major ala MLG Philly for Tekken, who’s gonna sneak in and steal Triforce’s power glove this time? That’s really the only thing I care about at this point when it comes to Empire, laughing about the shit being run by a dude wearing a power glove. As far as personal experience with them, last time I was at a tourney that Empire was heavily involved in, a dude’s apartment got trashed, and some guy was doin coke on the guy’s desk and there was shit smeared on the bathroom walls, in addition to some expensive furniture being damaged. That was just my personal experience with them, though. Call me a hater if you want, I guess.

its Death Row Vs Bad Boy all over again

I took the time to try and ask triforce, All he said was “All will be answered soon.”, So i suppose we wait for the real story

There are people in EMP who will turn it into that too, maybe not with all the shootings but violence isn’t out of the question.
I thought this was a pretty good post until you said this. They all happen to be good to very good so it’s not like there aren’t requirements.

Drive by SvC:MotM money matches will raid the streets.

People rollin’ up in SFIV 94’ Cutless and MVC3 LowRider’s shootin niggas, They see me playin they hatin! FUCK YOUR STREET FIGH- Bang Bang

I want to see Triforce at EVO saying something like
"Anyone out there who wanna be a pro player and wanna stay a star, but don’t have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos, all on the records, dancing, come to EG"

“pro gaming” is lame as hell, signing to teams is lame as hell (but i cant blame them for making that money), but empire arcadia is a fucking joke

dunno why anyone wouldnt be embarrassed to be associated with them

shoutouts to justin for getting a real deal

shoutouts to arcadia for not being a joke

shoutouts to great great commentary

shoutouts to shoutouts to shoutouts

“fray”

LoL. that was pathetic

More like Jay-Z and Dame Dash.

Honestly somebody explain the benefits of being on a video game team that plays one on one at tournaments and have to face each other? In MMA guys on the same camp don’t fight each other so will the same thing happen in fighting games. So can Justin refuse matches with Marn now due to them being on the same team?

I personally think this shit is stupid and shouldn’t exist its just as bad as having a union
