Justice League/DC movie thread

Well if DC was smart they would use something closer to the Young Justice version of Manta. Michael K Williams says he wants to be Manta. Problem is he’s 5’10’’ and skinny. Dennis Haysbert would be a good choice if he was younger. He looks like hes still in his 40s, but no telling how his 62 yr old frame would deal with the fight scenes. Roger Cross would be a decent choice. Then there’s Taye Diggs, Terry Crews, Isaiah Mustafah, Michael Jai White (But I would rather see him as Bronze Tiger again), D.B. Woodside

I agree with Roger Cross, Terry Crews, Isaiah Mustafah and D.B. Woodside. If Michael K was at least 6’2 since he seems to excel when playing a villain IMHO.

After Coast City was destroyed it was left that way. It was like that for a decade until Jordan returned as GL when the City was being reconstructed. When Gotham and Metropolis get wrecked they are up and running in record time.

I mean, goddamn… Micheal Bay has had FIVE FUCKING CHANCES and still manages to COMPLETELY MISS THE POINT of the fucking Transformers characters/mythos… and motherfucking Snyder, Ayers, and Terrio are still employed after punting the ball at least twice*(thrice depending on how badly you reacted to Man of Steel’s final act)*…

“Lol” at thinking that Manta showing up means they give a damn about Kaldur’ahm. The only way he’s likely to show up is a bad guy whose trying to get revenge for his father’s inevitable death and thus end up dying himself. That’s literally the “best case” scenario.

They’d sooner use Garth than they would Kaldur if they go with Aqualad at all, which seems unlikely in Snyder’s super dark, super edgy DCCU.

Saw Suicide Squad yesterday and I enjoyed it quite a bit, though being a super casual to DC stuff that may have something to do with that. Even though I liked it you can see within the first 30 mins the film has huge problems, the pacing is off and the editing is so fucking bad, like I had no clue how much time had supposed to have passed between some of the scenes before they get into the city and it feels like there’s no middle to the movie, it was really jarring. I was never bored with it though. The second half is a lot stronger. Some of the dialogue didn’t land with me, but most of that was just the “well it’s time for a wacky line from this character LELKEK”. Enchantress is my waifu and I’d go out on the piss with Captain Boomerang.

Def a solid 6 maybe a 7/10 if I was super generous.

Are there any Suicide Squad comic issues/story arcs you guys could recommend me?
