Race changes donāt really bother me if their race isnāt central to their character like a Black Panther. Iām more concerned about if the dude they chose as Tim can act. And Titans has a history of just doing wtf they want too, so thereās that

Funny enough batman has had a black Robin before in comics. They coulda used him buy overall Iām meh. If season 1 was more in line with the comics it might bug me. But everyone including batman was wildin the fuck out.

But comics has enough black, asian, etc that race swapping is not needed

But letās just say this witcher was going to have black people play norse people until there was a backlash. And i am for that as with witcher race and ethnicity plays a tremendous part of a character.
Tim Drake is more defined by an abusive dad, his love of tech, his weebness. And the way artists have drawn him with animƩ aeasthetics since forever. This is why asian robin was a thing with batman forever.
How do i feel? Timās race has zero to do with his character unlike with Damien whose Morrocan/middle eastern half is a big part of his being.
Tim Drake could have been any race really.

Who said it got terrible ratings though? Iāve seen people complain but not official places say it got bad ratings. Two different things.
Also they may be allowing it some room to grow. Maybe it fits a demo they need and wanna give it a chance after a chaotic time.
Black lightening didnāt seem to do well around season 2 or 3 but they renewed it. They may be doing the same for batwoman.
If they cancelled it they wouldnāt have many shows and almost no dc shows.
