Just watched The Batman teaser. Shit got me as soon as I heard Kurt singing. Looks very promising. Not hating on Pattinson. And damn he went HAM on that clown. Definitely has Netflix DD vibe which is great

I would love to see Nubia introduced into the DCEU. She should be in Wonder Woman 3. But she should have a HBO Max/DC Universe miniseries leading up to it.

They could pull from various backgrounds. The original origin of Nubia would provide the best baseline for starting off as an antagonist to Diana. Originally Diana and Nubia were born at the same time and had the same origin, Diana was created from white clay and Nubia from black clay. As such, she really is Dianaā€™s sister. Ares stole Nubia from Hippolyta and raised her as his own warrior. Keeping her in the dark about her true lineage and origins. In the DCEU, Nubia could be seeking revenge on Diana for killing her ā€œfatherā€ before eventually learning the truth. Hippolyta, like the comics, would have hidden this information out of shame and hurt.

My first choice for her is Yetide Badaki from American Godā€™s. The thing is everybody wants her to play Storm in the mcu.

I remember saying to her a couple of years ago on Twitter about being Nubia and she loved the idea. But she really wants to be play Storm too.

Me personally, and out of bias, I want her to play Nubia because she can add a little bit of a personal flare to the character and not get shitted on by fans. Storm on the other handā€¦

It actually doesnā€™t. Bruce has his identity exposed and blew up Wayne manor and the Batcave before going into hiding. That doesnā€™t happen in Gotham Knights. Alfred goes into hiding with Bruce at the end of AK while he serving as mission control in GK. Commission Gordon survived AK while heā€™s dead in GK.
