WB like Fox tries to throw anything at the wall and sees what sticks.
The problem with that approach is that very little does (WW )

They really need a Kevin Feige type of person to oversee the film division and not just announce all these projects that have little focus or will never come out. (Gambit)
It’s sad that WB has basically all their rights to DC characters unlike Marvel which is bound by all these convoluted rules yet it less successful at building a shared universe.

Wasnt a Todd PHillips Joker announced a few months ago? Will both of these be made? Affleck as Batman is in a tenuous state in the DCEU and they want to make a standalone film with an actor who has been 1 film with 5 minutes of screent time?
