and the damage potential may have gotten higher, but the BC combo there is 3 bars. Max mode in 98 increased damage. So 1 BC combo = 3 bars had equivalent damage for 2 combos and 1 bar in 98. I donno, I’m still plastered from friday.
98 o.yash has far s.C f+A hcf+B while 02 doesn’t. This also means 98 had qcb+P far s.C f+A hcf+B and 02… doesn’t. I think 02 yash can do dash standin close combos to make up for it, but still, far s.C is beef. I definitely think it improved his punishing game.
Oh, and lastly, it may not be that o.yash was toned so much as it is that everybody else was toned up. The increased background size definitely had a huge impact on how everybody gets tiered.
…whether he’s a good player or not has nothing to do with the quality of advise that he gives. He could be a shitty player for all I know, but he knows the theory, and he’s preaching it, so let him be.
I have to ask, what’s the best damage I can get off Ralf’s HSDM? Having just discovered it, I’ve been trying to juggle with qcfx2+P. But I figure a hcb+B qcbhcf+K juggle might work.
Supercancelling the _b f+C to SDM does more damage…but wastes alot of stock. By the way, what happened to the wikipedia? I have been kind of busy to update it, but others can…
Yeah, that’s the most common one. I don’t think a better one can be done without wasting much stock.
No idea on the Choi HSDM. It does seem random. Kao says it’s a full 7 hits, but doesn’t detail on how to land them all. fwiw it’s worse here than in SvC because some of the hits here can be rolled.
