Using a pad is possible, but it needs a custom config IMO. Default is very unconfortable when you want to keep Fuhajin stores as you fight normally.

hmmm… I geuss Fight pads and Game Sticks are a aquired taste. I feel like a god while using a controller( when I’m no where close to being pro) while using Juri against those damned T hawks and Ryu (though ken still very much annoys me with his shoryuken that ahs the largest hitbox in the world >>). Zone the hell outa them then half way through I switch my game play so aruptly they don’t even attack since they are so confused >>.

Great to have ya! Juri is a fun chara to play. I love her to bits! Be sure to watch a lot of vids of playstyles and see which suits you.

New noob interested in Juri

Question. I have a problem canceling into special attacks from more than 1 consecutive light attack. (ie. cr. lk x2 xx hk pinwheel) It’s like this with every character I play. Why?

You are probably chaining them i.e cancelling the recovery of the first light attack with the second - kind of like a target combo.

If you chain a normal, that normal loses it’s special cancel property, so if you want to do say, cr.LK x2 xx Pinwheel, you need to link the second cr.LK by using it just as the recovery from the first one ends.

You just need to adjust the timing of the move you want to cancel, and it will work.

What are some good block strings for juri besides

lol cr.lk isnt even a block string unfortunately. The only block strings you get are:

2x st.lk
cr.mk/mp xx fireball store

Fireball release gives you +4 on block so depending on how you space it and if you get it meaty on wakeup you can setup a block string from that, but its also only going to be a 2 hit block string.

What the best AA against Boxer jump.HP and Jump.HK? and against Sakura Jump.HK :frowning:

Boxer, both cr.hp and cr.mp work well when hes close by, st.far.mk when hes at max range of his jumpin.

Sakura…nothing just block, its the same with Vega’s jumpin Hp, just block. You can use counter to get out of it or try jumpback or neutral jump hardkick if you have enough time. High fireball if you have it and have enough time. But yeah those jumpins are deadly youre best just blocking.

This is why I greatly dislike the sakura match up.

Yeah they hit straight down on you. No time for a counter. I mean you could try an ex pin, but chances are you’ll trade or get stuffed.

Its a frame trap, actually, with a 2 frame gap between cl.LK and cl.MP. I use that all the time, adding a little manual delay on the cl.MP, its my go to frame trap.
