I think her pinwheel move would be good against Zangief. If she can use it like a shoryuken or ex-spinning bird kick on wake up that should take care of Gief’s lariat and pile driver. Viper’s problem was that she didn’t have much of a choice on wake up with a Gief in front of her, either try and block Gief if you think he’s going to do a lariat or you can try aznd oh man it’s been a long time since I played but I think the other option to avoid a pile driver is by jumping away or doing a burning kick.
Is it known yet if there will be a way to combo into Genei Juri? Like Yun’s lp > lk > mp xx SA3 > continue combo.
No and I doubt there will be.

Her fireballs look like they’d beat out lariat & green hand, and according to UltraDavid, good Cammys can apply some decent pressure on Gief with instant dive kick, which I assume Juri has. Depending on whether EX spin wheel kick beats out Lariat on wakeup, I don’t expect it to be too bad.
So long as you know what you’re doing. I expect Bad Juri’s to get eaten alive by Gief. Which will be all of them for a couple of months 
Given how slow they are and how long their hitbox last once stopped (there’s an early video against T-Hawk where the fireball had basically disapated away completely but T Hawk still jumped and landed into the long standing hitbox), but the startup might cause problems once Zangeif is applying pressure. If you’ve ever played Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core, think of this matchup like Potekmon versus A.B.A. Technically, A.B.A. has the tools to win this matchup, having large health, great speed, great projectile, but Potekmon beats her because of the difficulty she has while pressure is being applied to her from him.

I was going to say that requiring a meter to escape a situation is a bad thing, but I just remembered how insanely quickly Juri is reported to build meter from those at the Vegas fight club, which basically said that she almost always has a bar of meter. Still, this makes me worry about the pressure game that Zangeif could apply.
T-Hawk’s second ultra also looks incredibly scary to me as well, mostly because Seth has implied that Juri is a very jump in happy charecter, and I seriously doubt that any sort of EX dive kick would ever beat out that ultra of his, that on top of the pressure that T-Hawk can put out. Though, I don’t believe that T-Hawk has great defensive options either, and our ultra is a bitch to him as well, so this matchup could probably play out to be even.
it will be interesting to see really. Perhaps Juri’s pressure game will be so massive that the matches will play out 50/50. At least Juri’s bad matches won’t be because she’s getting turtled or timed out, but because of her lack of defensive options, so at least they’ll be exciting bad matches, which I could live with.

Im actually not worried about this. Rufus had to do it to escape bad situations, but he built meter pretty fast as well.

I think Juri will be able to handle grapplers alright. Her fireball covers decent space and if it moves slow enough for her to get in for free, she can work some pressure and then retreat out.
No doubt you’ll have to work harder but just because she has a fireball and an escape option, she might not be so bad.
I like how some people are saying “Our Ultra” and stuff like that as if they’re fighting alongside Juri in-game. It made me chuckle.
I’d assume if EX Pinwheel is invincible then it would indeed beat Lariat rather handily.

A bit lame how her Ultra 1 cant cancel specials. Anyone can think of any use for this ultra then? Quick lows to overheads? Maybe multiple air attacks to confuse opponents? I do like how long her time last during this mode though.
