Because no one knows if other characters will get buffs and maybe be as bad ass as Juri, I mean Juri looks really good now, but we haven’t really watched vids of anyone else other than Hawk and Deejay (which both also looks pretty good)
Sorry for the stupid question but what is nerf and buff?? I can’t find it…
nerf is when they reduce how good a character is or nerf a move for example tiger uppercut would be to maybe remove some frames of invincibility, or make it do less damage etc. in other words…make the move not as godly/a little worse…buff is the opposite of nerf.

After seeing Super Street Fighter and a Video or 2 with Juri in it all i want now is to play her and main her.
I really wasn’t too excited about Juri.
But after watching more she’s pretty damn cool.
I think a lot of this hype will be over once people start to play with her… or, everybody is going to user her like Ryu?! Which will it be??

Doubt it because she seems to have low stamina.
No long range fireball… Plus I dont think she has a SHORYUKEN to spam?
People will still flock to the classic Ryu after using Juri a bit :smokin:
we dont know that lol im a Ryu player at heart i may be play but not main her. but then again im waiting for dudley to be announced.
As far as we can see, Juri’s fireballs travel most of the screen, much like a Kikoken. Her stamina has already been debated, it’s most likely either average, or slightly less.

When I first heard the name, I thought of Juli and Juni from Alpha 3. Although I doubt they are connected to Juri. I’m hoping she will be like Kim Kaphwan from KoF. He was one of my favorites from those games.

dude it was speculation at first because everyone though she changes stances thats why i said… and i said that like like earlier this week lol. that shit was said like 4 pages ago…
A couple of Juri’s kicking animations (kick followup from dive kick, some of her tornado kicks, one of her overheads) are very similar to some of Hwoarang’s moves, thanks to the ITF Taekwon-do influence. That’s about it.
