I know man capcom did it and successfully did some great changes with Juri and FADC combos can’t wait for some new combos and FSE

I know you could lol, but U2 main usage is a punish ultra. Capcom help reaffirm this by letting her fadc a pinwheel into u2. You can pretty much corner combo bnb finish off an opponent. Yeah man, one tiny hit confirm= u2 and pinwheel doesn’t suffer damage deterioration on any of the hits after the initial and since pinwheel does the most damage out of all of juri’s moves, expect a nice damage output from the ultra 2 combo. MAN I WANT 2012 ED to come out now! I wanna hit the lab now and work on so many set ups and find the most stylish and most damaging set ups!!! So hyped right now, i know we all are, but man so good to be a juri player atm.

The second hit whiffs on crouchers, though.

Yeah I know. Maybe I misunderstood the post. The reason LK pw is bad now is because the 2nd hit whiffs. Thats what adds to the recovery. So if it still whiffs it will still have extended recovery.

And about anti air w/ cr.MK, maybe I used the wrong terminology? You can trip guard them on a jump in. I dont know what thats called, I just called it anti air. whatever it is…that lol.

It’s the hit stun got buffed not block stun. I suppose the block stun is still the same and lk pinwheel on crouchers will still be -8.

Ok after looking @ the data I think I know what he means. The blockstun/hitstun gained 4 frames, so since she was -8 before she should now be 4 frames better.

I think blockstun/hitstun are relative tho.

No that’s not correct.

ヒット means hit. So the +5 is only applied if the 1st hit actually hits.

Can some explain the frame changes to her so, I know I’m kinda confused. But, is the frame is how fast the normal/specials are coming out or something different.

lk pinwheel is only 2 hits and you can’t fadc the 2nd; for that matter you won’t need to fadc if you get +5 on the 2nd hit, you can just do another short xx lk pinwheel… making it into an infinite -.-

if the combo of pinwheel - fadc - ultra 2 can work, then this surely means you get a minimum of +10 window after the dash forward. This should mean you can do normal xx ? pinwheel - fadc - cr.fierce xx hk pinwheel for a fair bit of damage?

it’ll be interesting to see what you can do with the new walkspeed in FSE, esp in the corner. i’d want to try to walk forward a bit after a fuhajin release to try to sneak in a jab/short to cancel into another cr.fierce within that +10 window, skipping out damage scaling of adding a strong/forward in between the jab/short and the cr.fierce to close the distant between Juri and her opponent to make the combo possible. With the new damage increase on the fuhajin kick, personally I’m gona start refining corner resets of sc.mp/mk; rather than big pinwheel damage combos I’ll build up consistent block strings with frame traps, resets and tech throw counters to catch people doing auto pilot defending.

All versions have been cancelable on the 2nd hit since AE.

Well what I said before is not really correct. The whiffed 2nd hit doesnt actually add any recovery. Its just that the blockstun is not enough to cover the whiff currently. As far as blockstun/hitstun, the norm is for them to be relative. For example if you meaty a normal, the blockstun advantges increases the same amount that it would if you actually hit. That doesnt mean they didnt change for it to be different now, but thats the way it is currently.

edit: for example if you gain 2 frames on a meaty, you gain 2 frames equally when it hits and when its blocked.

edit2:unless you mean they just increased the difference between blocking and hiting only. That would be a really big change.

You can only fadc twice with 4 bars man. Wtf you talking about infinite. Bout the only thing you can do is fucking blow someone up with cr. hp>pinwheel>cr.hp>pinwheel>cr. hp> pinwheel.

I guess im one of the few juri’s that has no interest in FSE, i kinda wish is was a super and they made her super fancier and made it U1. I can do the combos but at the point that the ultra has full time, its useless to me, its bad enough she has a hard time getting out of pressured situations (to me at least) It has awesome properties but eh. The Changes I’m happy with but I hardly have any interest in making U2 get scaled down anymore, or attempting to make a go to combo out of an ultra.

It’s hit boxes becoming slightly more leniant would have been preferable.
I can hit someone sholder height after a jumping mp on the downwards arc but i can hit them as low as her shins when its on the upwards arc.
The fireball damage is lovely
The cancelling in lovely but i kinda really prefer using my ex’s on Ex pinwheels and the occasional ex fireballs for pressure or spacing.

on another good note, capcom killed yang. My sub is dead, great job fucking capcom. Sorry the salt from the forum carried over. As a juri main, it’s fucking good, in fact a lot of our bad match ups in ae get nerfed.Good for us…bad for them.
