Which means its +8 on FADC and not +7 which is what it says in the changelog, which makes the changelog wrong. Its still a 1 frame link and they use the line “Comboing has never been easier” lmao.

Or U2 = 9 frame start up now :smiley:

For the record in the beta changes log it lists second hit of expinwheel as +8, while as the final changelog lists it at +7, its more likely that someone pressed the wrong button located next to the correct button when typing out the changelog than missing out an entire change on its own.

If you look at yuns health you can tell whoever who was trying the link was having trouble doing it. I was laughing just at that.

Ive been running some figures and probably think it was best they toned down the frame advantage on Juri’s pinwheel FADC, ill probably post up some combo figures tomorrow or something to demonstrate her new improved 2 meter 3 meter and 4 meter BnBs.

Ill post an example right now, keep in mind pretty much any BnB juri performs on hit Builds 1 bar of meter itself only if you choose to extend the combo with 2 meters to FADC a pinwheel.

Juris best punish for whiffed moves is: Cr.Hp xx Hkpinwheel

so to use that as an example on how meter increases her BnB damage:

1 meter would be replace Hk with Ex pinwheel,
2 meters would be FADC the second hit of Hkpinwheel into St.Mp xx Hkpinwheel,
3 meters would be replace the final Hkpinwheel with Expinwheel
4 meters would be FADC the second hkpinwheel into another St.mp xx Hkpinwheel.

So in the case of the combo Cr.Hp xx Hkpinwheel the damage for extending the combo with meter is as follows:

0 meter: 240dmg
1 meter: 280dmg
2 meters: 334 dmg
3 meters: 362 dmg
4 meters: 404 dmg

The values if you add a preceding J.Hk (as in lets say you get a free jumpin just purely for example) are as follows:

0 meter: 312dmg
1 meter: 344dmg
2 meters: 397 dmg
3 meters: 421 dmg
4 meters: 452 dmg

So on average each meter you spend in a BnB you are increasing the base combos damage by 30-40 each bar.

people are all sad about this not working on ultra 2 … but … couldn’t u now basicly … go something like
senpusha, FADC, cl.MP, fuhajin raise, (negative edge) Ultra 2 ?

with cl.MP being a 3 framer … i dont see why that combo would be particularly hard …

i still think her 3 frame cl.MP is a monster game changer …

hell re-evaluating what i said yesterday … you basicly get 2 cl. attacks usually onblock … so i was thinking her true strings could acctually extend even longer …
cl.LP or cl.LK into cl.MP is a true string … !

Xx low fireball. That’s so good! The mix up is so real after that. On large characters you can j.strong to combo into ultra… Or fuzzy reset.

It just increases her opportunities.

Oh yeah, I was going to mention this a while back and forgot about it. In the corner, Juri should be able to hit Fuhajin store, activate U1, and then hit cl.MP. I never tried modding the game to test that, but assuming it works, it’ll put Juri in a good position to run mix-ups while already having a fireball stored.

Saw the trailer. So ex pin fadc u2 is possible, lookd like im sticking to that ultra =D. It should make core corner combos more dangerous now. And if u2 is a 9 frame start up we should be able to raw u2 after a stock release in the corner. 2 frame better than negative edge one frame.

You know what I like the most about the FSE changes? She’ll be literally a far better character during FSE. It’s like a mini-X-Factor, better dashes, an invicible reversal, fullscreen EX Shikusen punishes, etc. We’ll be able to pop up FSE if we need to without having to set it up and just keep playing normally without having wasted the ultra.

With the new Sempusha advantage on hit - even without the alpha adv - and the new cl.MP, we’ll hardly need U2 for actual damage output.

Time to step my game up. AE2012 is looking spiffy for Juri.

With 4 bars it will be more damaging to just do low HP > Super.

Corner only and too easy to mess up the negative edge U2 input.

If something like that happens… I won’t even be salty. I would be, but I’m about ready to drop this game anyway. It needs a lot more than simple balance tweaks for me to have fun playing it anymore.
