I’m looking forward to them, myself. The Senpusha hitstun buff means I’ll actually be able to connect the cl.LK link in matches, or cl.MP as it now seems.

I’m just jaded from the alpha changes. The changes are good.

  • this was the buff that i was excited about the most. definitely awsome. more combo and mixup potential . and with two bars juri can be [S]fancier[/S] more aggressive even without fireball charging.

    my question is… so is Fuhajin-FADC-Ultra2 still gonna work? and if it is , does that mean they make ultra2 faster ??

I like it . Her defense is still shitty but offense got better.
well personally I hate playing defensive anyway ( that’s why i lose the most of time tho lol )

I’m pretty satisfied with them. The main things I originally wanted were a fixed focus attack hitbox and an extra frame or two of hitstun/blockstun on Senpusha. I guess we didn’t get the blockstun, but that’s probably not a big deal. Most of the other changes make sense to me, even though I didn’t ask for them. I have to say, though, I’m a bit confused about this cl.MK change. I thought they were going to move the hitbox down rather than forward. I wonder if this would even change how it works at all.

I think the changes are overall good. The focus attack, fadc pinwheel, and cl.mp now being a 3f are the best changes. Also FSE 1/3 meter gain + further dash are sick changes. I was kinda upset she didn’t get the alpha test changes restored but now pinwheel forces stand anyway so I can overcome with newer and sicker combos especially in FSE.

Now to wait for 13 days.

I think its just a small buff to help the second hit to not whiff in certain situations

Mountains out of molehills. Theres literally just pinwheel FADC into close medium punch and being able to plink a 3 frame normal for very specific punishs. Her toolset hasnt expanded at all, everything she got in this update is stuff you could already technically do. Chances are FSE version of close medium punch is still going to be 7 frame startup which means fireball FADC > U1 > Close Mp might still not even be possible.

Giving her the changes she got in FSE to regular Juri wouldve made more sence, even the forward dash, whats wrong with making her a more solid character or did no one see what characters like E-Honda and Cody got? 2 extremely good characters right now got so much more better.

In the beta changes it even lists second hit of expinwheel as +8 on FADC which still techincally meant you could FADC into U2, and now its only plus 7 so you cant…they actually thought a 1 frame link into ultra 2 for 3 bars was an issue or something?

Literally more excited about playing Guile than Juri right now.

I agree with mike, the changes are very meh. Then again, its great if your a U1 specialist but its a serious cop out if your not. The only match up I see myself using U1 is against Guile owing to the dash she’ll gain after U1 activation.

I’ll be sure to mess around with U1 in AE2012 and see what its like. Won’t be dropping Bison as my secondary, though.

December 13th is just under 2 weeks away anyway so we’ll see then for now, I think I’ll just stick to Marvel for now.

I disagree with the changed trajectory on the ex dive kicks only being during fse. Should be always, but oh well.

I believe the 2012 changes hit Japanese arcades on Dec 2nd. Hopefully we will get some more video of the changes. Im just tired of speculating and looking at stuff on paper, I just want to get into training mode and get a feel for things myself.

3 frame cl.MP … that … is a game changer if nobody noticed … it means you can have a 3 frame poke with a stored LK fuhajin … not only that … when you cancle into the LK fuhajin its a true string … thats better than all the other buffs in my opinion …

not only that … her combo potential just got better with that …

hell you can true string it after a fuhajin in the corner … picture this …
j.HK, cl.MP, LK fuhajin, cl.MP , fuhajin raise … all true string !!! or even …
j.HK, cl.MP, LK fuhajin, cl.MP, EX low fuhajin, cl.MP, EX low fuhajin, cl.MP, EX low fuhajin, cl.MP, EX low fuhajin (or EX senpusha) … all true string … (plus a ton of chip damage that can basicly win you the match)

now thats somthing to think about …

not to mention frame traps just got alot deadlier …

hell vs tall characters … you no longer need to use a light attack anymore to avoid losing your block string after jump in ! … thats mad good …

I find it very ironic that they gave juri a list of buffs. Anyone here play with them extensively? I think not. And you’re already shitting on it. Come on…you all played juri from the start and saw that she was who she is. You stayed with her because you liked her. You also did because you think deep in your heart she’s viable. No one plays characters they can’t win with.

But here is the truest shit I’ll ever say to you guys…

Shit has got to be said. Juri is not ass tier. She is going to be a solid a tier character. That’s good enough to win. So anytime you lose, it’s your own fault.

Stop complaining and asking capcom to fix your bad matchups. You can make it work. If you can’t… Drop juri.

This character is a vast character with so much room for improvement. Improve and stop being free!

Well we lose sometimes cause fei long was too fucking broken and Juri just got her ass handed to her, no skill required there.
