Juri pretty much excels in everything except long blockstrings, somewhat mid screen solo damage, full screen projectiles ummmm I think that’s it, smh.

I hope the higher float on clHP means that we can do crHP > delayed jHP > jMK > clHP > MK Senpusha or HK Fuhajin > tag as an anti air, thus increasing the AA damage. Only LK Senpusha would connect after that combo before.

Never thought using those jc combos could be so fun especially in the corner. I know this combo already exists and I’m too late for discovering it, but so far I’m now capable of using

mk.senpusha, cr.hp xx jump, shikusen, cr.mk xx lk.senpusha/lk.fuhajin

It may have lesser damage and higher chance of dropping compared to

mk.senpusha, cr.hp xx jump, jp.hp, cr.mk xx lk.senpusha/lk.fuhajin,

but it gives you positional advantage since the opponent remains cornered and will be forced to roll in order to escape. At least now I have two corner combos for Juri and hopefully I could execute it well in an actual match. The nerf on Senpusha made the second combo much difficult to execute anyway, so I might end up using the first combo more.

Also if the opponent is in the corner at the end, you can do cl.hp instead of cr.mk for more dmg.

I’m doing it now midscreen as long as the opponent is launched high enough. The opponent seems to fall faster in the corner, so I’ll need to use the faster move. Maybe I’ll use it if I can do the combo consistently. :smiley:

I also like cr.mk for its versatility. You can only follow-up with a lk.senpusha when using cl.hp while you can use either super art or cross art when using cr.mk. Maybe at 2013 cl.hp can be followed-up with those. Please test it. :3

In the corner always use HK Senpusha > cr.hp. And always end with cl.hp. No silly excuses about versatility, maximize your damage. :slight_smile:

Juri’s Super really isn’t worth it anymore (it was when it did 350). Maybe it will be in 2013 but right now it’s a waste of meter unless you have your gems setup around using her Super. But if your team can do 500 punish with 1 meter, then why would you ever spend a second bar for less or equal damage? Only reason I can think off is that you really need to keep Juri in and can’t find a combo that tags back to Juri.

But it will almost always be better/smarter to only use 1 meter and keep your second meter for other uses imo.

EDIT: Only time I would use Juri’s Super personally is on reaction to projectiles maybe and after activating Pandora/Cross-Assault. But that’s pretty much it.

Not entirely true. With the shikusen combo you can cancel cl.hp into anything other than super and it will connect. The other version is pretty much lk.senpusha only yea, but you can tag off that and continue… it’s just really hard :3

Still, the only time you should be sacrificing the damage is if you have a dirty setup in mind that requires you to sacrifice it for better positioning or a store.

Well, right now if you do J.hk> cl.hp you can land Kaisen Dankairaku. I honestly think cl.hp buff might yeild something powerful…this is midscreen btw.

True. She does piss off alot of people. All the more reason I love her. Reminds me of her OVA. She pisses off Cammy, Guile, Chun-Li and the dolls so easily. Then proceeds to own them all like chumps. My favourite is the epic elbow gut strike she preformed on Cammy. Second would be either Guile’s or Chun’s ownage with dat energy kick. Guile do NOT see that coming.

I never paid attention to previous patch notes, so I must ask, did HK Fuhajin juggle this high previously? I don’t recall being able to tag Law in and j.HK on it before. Or perhaps I could and just not get the cr.fierce in time. Either way, good shit.

Also, so glad both of my characters have amazing anti-airs with combo potential now. :smiley: cr.HP seems to still work perfectly as anti-air in many situations, and just doesn’t reach quite as far forward. Juri’s nerfs aren’t bothering me much other than far s.LK but… whatevs, those frame traps were too good.

The only nerfs I do notice are the damage and for some reason ex senpusha makes it harder to follow up with low forward…

From what I’ve tried so far from her Cr. HP, I noticed that it doesn’t combo as easily in the corner.

Ex. cr.hp xx fuhajin >cr.hp xx whatever is a bit harder to hit as the frontal hitbox is smaller now, it’s still possible but you have to move forward slightly for it to hit.:tdown:

her corner combos are the same. I’ve had absolutely no issues comboing, did you play before they patched her pinwheel? Her timing was changed before. I can assure you that the timing did not change from that.

I’ve had crouch fp trade with somethings, but it might of been my error it usually works fine

That cl.HP “Buff” is a pain in the ass. Now you have to time cl.hp xx lk/mk pinwheel. If you use the old timing, you wont get the full hits of the pinwheel, and in the corner you will straight up whiff and go under them, putting yourself in the corner.

Now I have to relearn an old combo, that does less damage now, all for the sake of this “buff”. So far the only thing i’ve found with cl.hp, is that you can combo it into super mid screen. Why would you waste meter doing that anyway?

They said it was a buff…what a lie…it was a dmb move…however if they decreased the recovery on it then we could see potential from it…
