I’ll be here to answer/explain the questions from here on.
Most people that would play down here won’t use CE characters. I one of the few exceptions. I use CE Ken, but also HF Ryu. That’s only because I didn’t play Super Turbo back when it was out. I ended up skipping that one. So I’m used to the older “old” school" stuff Like Hyper and Champion. Super Turbo is kind of weird to me. I’m trying to learn Super Turbo now though.

And fuck AE. ST all the way. It is just a CEfest in AE with Guile, Bison, Ken, and Sagat. Might as well just play the real CE. ST ALL THE WAY!!! either way if AE or ST gets added Ill play either or assuming I go.
If you guys read the mash harder thread rumor has it that CVS2 “MIGHT” get added.
Jive: No everybody cept Danny and Onion play CE. You , Me, Julian, and Im sure bear does. I can use pretty much all the other characters but in the end if I want to win I gotta go CE.

Theres a large chances that CvS2 will be added at this point to attract not just the SA people but people from Houston as well.
We even have a few (not many) Corpus people who play the game as well.
It seems like we will get alot of support of CvS2 does happen, but the rules for CvS2 will be changed to prevent the game from dragging on or extending for too long.

To all the out of town’ers. Old school CC scene players have been showing up to the Tilt in Padre Staples Mall every friday. If you want to play any of the CC MVC2 crew check in on the Friday before the tourney. Peace. Any Melty Blood players coming down to CC on the 16th?

Oh, and it seems like CvS2 is more on demand than AE (or so it seems).
I’d really like to see the SA people show up to this if its possible. We wanted to have T5 DR as the 2nd spot for the game (it seem like some Corpus people wanted in on it), but it seems like no one really had the equipment to have a DR tournament.
While on the CvS2 side, it looks like people are willing to throw in some TVs and systems to get it running.

An idea was brought up by legend goku (not sure if its been posted here), but the idea was to have it set to double elimination but single matches (not 2 out of 3).
So I suppose that works.

YES CVS2 is the mix. Its cool with the double elimination 1 game I understand that and its been done like that in past tournaments. Or you could just do what they do for evos and the old TS’s where only winners bracket play best 2 of 3 and losers bracket are just single but even then that takes a some time. Either way Ill play no matter what. GOOD SHIT:tup:

These games are now official!
It seems like quiet a bit of these games are being crammed into the 5:00 - 7:00 schedule. Hopefully, with the equipment we have, things will run smoothly. As noted before, things might get pushed back and if things do get to messy then GG:AC teams might get canned.
With that is said and done, hope you enjoy this event!
