infinites and 100% combos in tvc are no big deal. Good luck pulling one off in a real match.

How do you even do an infinite on Lightan? No histun on normals and most specials

Anyway, discovered a DHC glitch with Tekkaman. When you do Jun’s 236AA super, if you perform Tekkaman’s 623AA after the “BINGO” explosion, the opponent will free fall into the lance. Normally, the opponent always recover in the air shortly after a bingo explosion. Thought I’d mention it if it haven’t already been mentioned.

EDIT: It’s not a glitch, I was just able to combo into the lance because perform Jun’s 236AA super after her 421C puts the opponent lower to the ground to fall into the lance. Disregard what I said before…

Jun/Tekkaman (with Jun on point) - midscreen, cant be near the corner.
5A, 2A, 5B, 2B, 5C, 2C (1 hit) 236A, BBQ, 5A, 2A, 5B, 2B, 5C, 2C (1 hit), 236A, 214A, assist, walk back a few steps, 5b, 3C^, j.B, j.B, j.236B+C 18.57 billion

in the corner you can do:

both could be improved on, i was just looking for somewhere to use tekka’s assist :slight_smile:

it went something like 5B, 2B, 5C, 2C (1 hit), 6C (2 hits), 623B, j.B, 236A, j.B, 5B, 5C, 236A, 214A, SJ, j.B, j.B, 236A, 214A, 236B+C 22.5 billion

tekkaman assist in second video:
5b, 2b, 5c, 2c(1 hit), 6C (2 hits), 623B, j.b, 5C, 236A, 214A, assist, (wait for assist to connect) dash back and immediately 623B, j.B, 5C, 236A, 412B+C, detonate bombs in air (you’ll have switched sides) 23.2 billion

I changed the combo in the OP to a much better one, 1 meter, no BBQ, 19k damage. If you guys have a better one let me know and I’ll replace it again.

Don’t know if anyone else has noticed this or not but Jun has a few invincible frames during the start up of her 6B. Discovered on accident during an online match against Ippatsuman, Grand Slam went right through me.
Unfortunately I’m able to do very little testing since I don’t have a second controller but I set the training dummy to CPU and noticed every punch he threw at me missed when the timing fell into order.
Not sure how practical it will be in the long run but Saki Armor Piercing?

Yeah, I noticed that also…if you are talking about that sweep kick that has a slow start up…it hits low, and if you connect…you can baroque with plenty time to continue… i think it’s nice.

How are you landing the :qcf::p::p: after :qcf::snka: ? The combo counter resets once I plant the air yo-yo bomb. Am I just doing this too slow? Maybe a video would help.

yup you are sir. you can attach bomb in the air and get the super no problem. just work on your timing!

I still have trouble doing this too. The timing to do the j. :snkb: :qcf::snka: after the second jump cancel is a little strict, at least to me. You have to be a little bit higher than the opponent to get it to land.

The timing to land the :qcf::snka: is pretty strict, and like imac980 said, it’s also height specific. If you’re having trouble doing super after the bomb, you’re probably doing it too slow. You have to do the second QCF pretty much immediately after the first.

Yeah, until I can land it consistently I’m just sticking with blah blah jc j.B, j.B super.

I’ve been using Jun with Polimar, and I really like the combination. She can DHC bomb super (in the air) into the drill. Also, Polimar’s assist after a 6C is a nice little addition to combos.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to deal with giants with Jun?

Something I haven’t seen much discussion about, but Jun can easily combo out of her forward throw with an assist. My favorites are Jun/Tekka, Jun/Poly. Tekkaman has the best followups but timing’s strict, Polymar’s easy to time but follow-ups aren’t as good. For example…

call Polymar, immediately forward throw:
immediately 236+C (you can’t combo the Bingo!)
OR
236 super (time right after Polymar’s last kick)

call Tekkaman, delay, forward throw:
if timed properly you have several options after Tekkaman lassos them, use your imagination

This is also possible with Ken the Eagle.

What combo do you guys use on opponents that are either ducking or far from you when you begin her BnBs? I find that the 6C wiffs in these situations so I’ve just been doing the 2C (1hit) bomb plant.
