I really want to support as many games as possible, but things will be different next year. I can’t just throw every game in so side games will be run by respective communities but I’d like whatever people want to play to be there one way or another. but as for Streaming and such, the focus will be on the “Featured” Games for Sunday Finals. Which basically means, if something is a side game, it won’t get streamed on Sunday but it will still be supported.
When do early bird reg start?
January.
CEO 2012 is returning as an EVO Qualifier Event and is also the 2nd to last one before EVO so all eyes will be on us. Registration will go live January 15th with quite a few more announcements coming. Hang Tight everyone.
I’ll be here for Soulcalibur and maybe SFxT.
I’ve tried to go to Florida soooo many times, CAN’T WAIT!
oh the tournament should be cool too
So is Friday going to be the typical “side/team tournament day” or will there actually be pools done then? I ask because I’m not entirely sure if I’m going to be able to make it there in time for anything happening on Friday.
Tentative Team Tournaments will be on Friday starting around 2 pm. First Official Tournaments on Friday will be Tekken 6 and SFxT 2v2. SFxT 1v1 is still the main version of SFxT even after EVO’s announcement so the 2v2 is just a practice tournament for everyone going to EVO. Opening Ceremony(trust me you don’t want to miss it) starts between 6 and 7 pm on Friday. Full detailed schedule will be up around middle of MAY and final Pools will be online by Wednesday Evening the week of CEO 2012.
Please feel free to ask any questions here since we are almost at the 60 day countdown mark for CEO 2012.
cant wait… dat pool
I am definitely excited for this
Now that it’s got a release date and we know it’s BEFORE CEO, someone’s gotta bring a Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown setup to CEO or I sure as sugar will.
Myself, LPN, Scunsion, Hargi and Kineda from NorCal will be there this year! This is my first time traveling far to a major other than EVO. I cannot wait
Would anyone be able to pick up myself and two other players from a bus stop on Friday morning, June 15 and take us back Sunday night, June 17? The stop is only 15 minutes away from the venue, and of course we’ll be able to provide gas money.
Which setup would be better to bring: a PS2 and a lot of classic fighters or a PS3 with VF5:FS?
Could you give more information about where you’ll be?
Our bus stop is at N Garland Ave and Washington St. We arrive at 7:35am Friday morning, and leave at 11:59pm on Sunday night.
Would anyone be willing to pick up (6/14 various times) and drop off (6/17-18 various times) DMG players from the airport, to the venue and vice versa?
Gas money and dinner will be provided.
Please PM or email me @ dominionmethodgaming@gmail.com
