I was originally planning on going to the full event, but I might have to work overtime so now I’m not sure. I might be able to get off work in time for marvel singles though, otherwise I might go for casuals if there will be those(haven’t been to an in-person tourney before, so if I don’t enter singles and can’t play period let me know cause I don’t wanna show up and pay without being able to play at all). If I make it in time I’d probably enter SSF4 teams as well if someone needs a teammate though I am complete ass at that game.
it was decided to make sure we finish on time AE teams won’t happen
VSB runs 64 man team+singles tournaments starting from 2pm to 11pm with 8 setups… pretty sure you’ll finish in time.
If anyone is curious, here is the official website for the overall event itself.

I am double-checking all details to make sure that everything will go smoothly.
I promise I will get ST in there, even if they cut my legs off and lock the doors!!! :p:

Thanks again to everyone who participated! Too many sick matches, so many players. Everyone I talked to said they had a blast. This game is so much fun to love.
Big thanks to CrossXoveR for letting me run this, and very big thanks to the LANcouver organizers (who will probably never read this) for sharing their venue with us.
Huge thanks to Coren. He streamed the whole thing. The entire thing. He sat in that corner making magic with his laptop for twelve straight hours without any water or food or air. Archive is here: http://www.justin.tv/crossxovervan/videos
Thanks AGAIN again to everyone who showed up and joined. I am so happy that this happened!!!
did anyone stream mvc3?
www.justin.tv/canadianjoysticks for marvel.
And sorry for my ass commentary, i dislike the game so I have no idea what is going on half the time.
thanks alot for the hard work eric and coren, poor guy looked so bored but stuck it through to the end.
We most certainly did read it! It was a blast having you guys there and the ST tournament was awesome. I’m Joel M and my Balrog got blown up but I had a lot of fun.
A big shoutout to everyone who came out to LANcouver, hope to see you at future events.
Thanks, and a huge thanks to you for running the brackets and bringing your setup, I’m more or less the CrossxoveR rep for older/sad/anime/poverty/obscure games so I was well in my element. I have to apologize for the lack of fancy layouts, the huge gaps in recording due to losing internet constantly, and a lack of a solid knowledgable commentator. We had a lot of technical and organizational difficulties we hope to adress before our next event.
Thanks, I was mostly just tired, I actually really like ST and a lot of older games over new ones.
If there’s any (and I do mean ANY) fighter you’d like to see at a future event feel free to make some noise on our threads, profiles, and the facebook. I myself play all sorts of sadlife/poverty/old/obscure games and would be more than happy to run events for stuff like: Vsav, ST, Alpha, F/UC, Melty Blood, Arcana heart, Guilty Gear, Blazeblue, Karnov’s Revenge / Fighter’s history Dynamite, KoF, Sailor Moon S match, Vanguard Princess, Hokuto no Ken, Tekken, Akatsuki Blitzkampf, Third Strike, CvS2, Jackie chan in: Fist of fire, Survival arts, Shaq fu, Blue Breaker burst, World Heroes, Samurai Shodown 5 Special, Immaterial and missing power, Eternal fighter zero, Breaker’s revenge, and all sorts of other games you love but were afriad to play / have never heard of.
I know there’s some interest in BlazBlue, Arcana Heart and Hisoutensoku around here.
list has like every game BUT fatal fury special, PSSSH
no man that’s just his face

Battle capacity? I’ve played it, ti’s pretty unfinished and needs a few more patches before it gets to the point where it would be solid.
It is still in beta…
Wish they had told us we were getting our pictures taken, coulda smiled.
Heyyy that’s cool, surprise coverage from mysterious websites! Hahaha.
The Marvel 3 singles grand final plus a random teams match made it onto YouTube.

I didn’t post the results for those games because I didn’t want to step on any toes, and it looks like nobody else is going to and now I can’t even remember them.
