Joysticks on XBL

If you get a SE stick…will modding it make the chances of it breaking decrease?

i knowmaly use the left analog…but after playing about with a firends EX2 ive desided to get my hands on a SE from madcatz (when they ever send more stock out).

As for modding, somthings are just down to personal preferance (shape of the gates, bat or ball and buttons)…but to answer you question yes the better parts would lessen the chances of it braking on ya…its abit like geting better breaks for your car, only not so life or death lol

If you’re not a wild button masher that sends the stick flying every super, then you will have no problems at all. That is if you replace the SE factory parts with profesh parts like sanwa.

I would suggest the Madcatz SE as well. If it ever breaks, it is easily repairable. Whereas my Hori EX2 broke after only 3 days and I couldn’t do anything because I didn’t want to learn soldering, my SE still works fine after 2 weeks of constant usage and parts from Lizardlick are on their way.

The one thats like the old green goblin for dream cast is pretty easy to use, and if you had one back in the day, its pretty easy to get back in the groove.
