Also your guys reaction time is insane, honestly, I watched some viper vids vs some ryu/balrogs and vipers get them jump ins for FRAY in japan.
It improved my reaction time a ton too, I just beat a 14960 gouken and 12500 bison for like a 124000 cp final. Just watching my old replays I sucked, at least reaction time wise.
Seems like the day after these offline parties I just own.
Also corey’s apartment wouldn’t be a bad idea, more room in his living room than yours weeks.

Last tourney said they’d start at noon, didn’t start the other games until around 1:30, SFIV didn’t start until around 4:00, and Weeks and I didn’t stay for the whole thing so we didn’t get back 'til 9:00ish.
Weeks: I’ll gladly drive if it’s you and I, but if it’s more people I don’t have the room. No big deal though, just pray I don’t do badly in the tourney because we remember how the last drive back from one of those went

So I did a little research.
Apparently what causes the lag on HDTVs is processing on the image to make it look better or to scale it up (or down) to match your TV’s resolution.
Some TV’s have tried to fix the lag by introducing a ‘game’ mode which eliminates this processing
My TV has game mode for the HDMI port, so I hooked up an HDMI cable to my TV to see if it helps. I can’t really tell yet, but it FEELS tighter and more responsive. is this just confirmation bias? i can’t really say.
Could be what we car guys refer to as the “butt dyno”: you don’t have any hard evidence that a mod you just did makes your car faster, but from your seat it “feels” faster so it must be! Hope that’s not the case.
