I thank joo for making such great masterpiece. I have only dreamed of such combo video and doubted its possibility due to time/frustration/tools. But joo over came this. I always wondered how to connect supers and specials that seemed too difficult to maneuver. Thanks to joo, my stoner thoughts are no longer intangible, but reality!

I didn’t see anything in the thread but I was curious as to what hardware/software you used to record & edit this DVD?
Canopus Pegasus (capture card)
Adobe Premiere & After Effects (video edit)
TMPEG DVD Author (DVD building program)
VirtualDub (frame by frame and encoding tool)
Microsoft Excel (transcripts and macros which helped organize all of the text files)
Filezilla (FTP program for the footage we shared in a folder on Zach’s server)
Anyway, I don’t know what to discuss about the DVD on SRK as it’s more of a “Watch and be amazed” topic. It’s unfortunate that it was finished so late into Marvel’s history, if it had been done a few years back (05), I’m sure it would have gotten plenty of more views. That being said, it’s good that it got done to begin with and that as many people who saw it, saw it.

I know this has nothing to do with 3, but at the same time, it has to do with showing just how amazing MvC2 is as a combo exploration game. Hopefully people working on 3 get to see it (most likely yes, since the DVD is in Japanese as well) and keep some of the fundamental parts of the engine that allow for such deep exploration. Again, thanks Tragic!

Well, since the DVD is in Japanese as well, I am 100% sure that the MvC3 design team is going to see it.

so i was watching some of joo’s videos and that was nice, but there have been changes made to the gameplay mechanics when MVC2 was put on ps3; for example, cable takes a longer pause after a viber beam. has there been any adjusted sort of video tutorials for this version of the game, since i dont have a dreamcast?
