ImgBurn question
I am burning it using IMGBurn right now, but it says that there is no Layer 0, not prepared for DVD burn (something like that). Are there any preset layerbreaks I should put in, or just let it choose optimal?
Oh, shit, wasn’t expecting a dual-layer DVD. This shit got twice as hype, hah. Gonna start downloading now…
BTW, Impulsze, that may be why you’re having issues burning the DVD, you’re gonna need a DVD+R DL for this monster!
Could I get some courtesy seeds please on the torrent?
I had the same issue, too. I ended up with a Dual Layer coaster from within the latest version of ImgBurn. I have no clue what’s up with the ISO. It’ll run just fine in VLC, but I want to run it on my 46" LCD TV. =P
I haven’t download the file yet (been lazy I know) but just from reading your guys problem…
Why don’t you just use 7-zip extract the .ISO into TS_folders and burn through that. Even if there is an error you can burn it anyways. At worst there like 1-2 minute of mess up footage.
Or you can just download the par2 file fix the .ISO and burn it in one good burn!
You can use this as a layer break in ImgBurn so it burns and plays correctly: 2084960. I might upload a .DVD file later on, so people can just use that to burn it. Thing is i have some many versions of this thing that i need to find the final one, lol!
Edit, here ya go, just double click this and Imgburn will do the rest: Layer Break DVD file. Unzip and put in the same folder as the ISO file, then just double click it or open it up in Imgburn.
Thank you so much JOO and magnetro! I have read every part of the article and previewed the dvd. I will watch it this Saturday. I understand how much time joo had to go through for this dvd, It is the best thing since a mango margarita.
Download the RAR files from the second set of links (hosted by ZachD). Capcom took the DVD files down because it was causing their websites to slow down or stop entirely. I think they took the brunt of the hosting, hopefully Zach’s site won’t explode either. Don’t use Flashget or other download accelerators on Zach’s site, please. Though I think it’ll inevitably go down – I’m going to hold off from posting the Youtube playlist of the DVD files until there is only the Torrent left. I really hate Youtube.
This DVD is AMAZING!!!
I don’t have sufficient space on my machine to DL this at the moment, but I have a query: Are those spreadsheets with frame data I saw in the trailer included on the DVD by any chance, or otherwise available for viewing? Thanks.
So I was lazy and didn’t want to waste money on a dual layer dvd disc. (DVD9) (Since they only sell that shit in bulk now I wish you could buy just 1 disc!)
So I decided to split that 7 gig file into a 4 gig and a 3 gig file and burn it onto two standard DVD5 disc.
Computer warns you and says no don’t do it, but I was like fuck it burn anyways. Then it warn me again saying disc probably won’t work correctly. I said screw that burn anyways.
IT WORKS! Yes being lazy pays off for once! BOOOO YAH! Okay that is all…
Linux users:
Don’t fret about the DVD_E.part01.exe file. You can still unrar these files. Just start with any of the rar files to start extracting.
Other tips:
Running ‘wget -c http://path/to/file.rar’ from the command line will download the files. The ‘-c’ flag will help if the link is disconnect or lost and will restart where it last dropped.
Running ‘watch ls -lah’ will allow you to watch the size of DVD_E.ISO grow while it is extracting since the unrar isn’t the most verbose.
Hope this helps any of the tux users.
I tried to download the file using uTorrent, but it gave me an error saying that file is too big for the filesystem.
I then tried to download the file by getting each of the individual rar files, but that fails about halfway through, possibly due to the same issue. Now the main HDD on my system only has about 5 gigs of space, but I’m saving the file to an external HDD with over 500 gigs free.
Any ideas on how to work around this? I’m running Windows XP if that helps.
I’m watching this now.
This is by far the best combo I have ever seen.
Any chance for a h264 rip?
It’s probably trying to cache the download in a temp folder during the download before transfering it to the external HDD. Try transfering some stuff on the main HDD over to the external one temporarily to make space.
Currently connected to 143 seeds. So, there are definitely people seeding, as I will for a while after it finishes.
I’ve uploaded over 300 gigs personally myself, so theres definitely a lot of seeding out there
I’m seeding continuously as well. Definitely worth the download.
