Man, that was really brutal the way Caesar was crushed like that… I only came to recall his fate when I noticed something in the opening animation, where Joseph wore Caesar’s headband… Even then I couldnt accept it and went to re-read the manga(up until his death) and confirmed it, and even then the anime managed to make me feel sad for the characters. Its real tough being a Zeppeli, always die for the Joestar, and in gruesome ways too. I wonder if we’ll see more Zeppeli’s in the future. (I’ve only read until Part 3)

Fights come down to split second decisions and extreme creativity. Characters come up with stuff on the spot and almost never fail to capitalize on small opportunities. That’s why I love the fights in Jojo. <br><br>Joseph’s and Lisa’s reactions to Caesar’s death was so sad. Joseph was in denial, Lisa had her cigarette backwards and both were trying so hard to hold back their emotions and focus on the task at hand. But when they saw the blood, it finally sank in and they broke down, hard. I guess the latter half of the episode will be more exciting as it’ll be building towards the chariot battle but I;m actually finding it hard to be excited for it right now…;_;
<br>The staff really went all out for this episode, didn’t they? Proper music placement (especially at the end), Ceaser vs Wham animation and the stellar voice acting has given that part of Battle Tendency full and proper justice. RIP Ceaser. You have fought well. =(<br>

That was probably the saddest moment I’ve seen in a long time, I wasn’t really prepared to see Caesar leave yet since he hasn’t really done much up to this point. (Most likely more was accomplished in the Manga) but still, that really bothered me more than I thought it would.</span></font><div style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; "><br></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Whole episode was good, Wham/Caesar fight was gorgeous and Wham is probably the most layered villain I’ve seen so far. Not necessarily evil in a true way, has respect for the Warrior code and honor, he makes for a great character.</span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Joseph sure does go through a lot of hell.
