Is there a formal tier rating for this game? It’s interesting to see high level play since I’ve only dabbled with it myself. I love playing Mariah and would like to be able to use Hol Horse to any extent, but it’s really hard to get anything worthwhile done in this game. The key is in the pre-program combos and I’m worthless at them.

is mariah the magnet girl? she’s may fave and she’ has so boss combos with no meter that do good damage. it’s just sort of hard to get those combos, I normally run away alot itll I get lucky.

The fact that he can do a BnB that gives him enough meter to do the 80% in question is the point. The 10 bars statement was to add emphasis to the fact that he has to touch you at basically any point in the match. If 10 bars were easy to get, you’d be seeing 100% The World combos from Jotaro/Dio/S.Dio all the time…and obviously, you don’t.

my comment deals exactly with your second line the emphasis is fabricated since mentioning the max amount of bars u WONT get is kindah pointless. also dio does not need more than half of those 10 meters to do near 100% in an unblockable. while jojo could not even do close to that with 10 since he cant do anything about damage scale in the freeze time mode.
to avoid you thinking that this is some attack on you or just rambling, u dont need to bolster petshop with such talk hes scary enough for what he is without talking about bar max or counting the cast:sweat:

Agreed. I dont know where Shotokan Symphony pulled that shit out from. Jotaro is overpowered, fast, and has chains up the ass. =P

It just seemed to me that you were trying to say that he wasn’t that broke (the third of the cast being useless thing), but it’s pretty clear that we agree he’s super broke. Besides, I don’t know much about this game anyway, haha. :wgrin:
Does anybody know if when you activate the “stand attack” super, where you input a bunch of commands really fast, if what they’re doing during it is actually chains, or links? Timing links by memory without the hitstun just seems ridiculous, whereas chains seem more likely because of shit like “2 his over and over, jump to the other side and go nuts with jab, end with super/knockdown”.

to answer your question they are chains and u can see that it also scales really bad per hit.
kakyoin with shades has different moves and is ranked much lower then reg, who imo is a beast

i know u can do 50% off one bar and iv also seen it end with the “intwine” after which the damage may or may not reset, im not sure because after that kakyoin punched a few times and did E splash super which killed them
i’m still debating whether to open my new sealed copy or not…
