Yes and no one has bought it since. Game went down to half price locally less than two weeks after Jojo pre-orders shipped. It’s only going to minutes (well a few more post-zeitgeist weeks anyway) until I buy my copy for Y1000.

The exaggeration of this game’s lack of sales if interesting. Over half a million or close to it in what, 2 weeks? For single region FIGHTING game? I think it’s doing fine.

This whole game is fanservice, really. And I like that idea about Bruford/Tarkus. Stroheim should have been a no brainer. Same for Nero and Weather, IMO. Especially over characters like Akira and Fatty. Or two versions of Kira.

Kira is Araki’s favorite JoJo character. Of course he’ll be put in the game twice!

The Diavolo ranking is actually a combined Doppio and Diavolo, so I’m sure you can understand why someone would love Doppio.

Ah, ok, if he’s including Doppio too, then that makes sense. I feel Diavolo was lost potential, but he served his purpose as an antagonist, plus King Crimson’s pretty cool.

Ok, so they swapped the previously announced release date of Vanilla Ice/Anasui with those two. Originally they were going to be released before the old folks on that same day.

Guess I have to wait a month. Vanilla Ice is going to be coming out right around my birthday : D

Two weeks apart was the most likely guess for the dates, and we already knew the characters from the datamine.

The names are wrong, though. I can’t read the entire campaign 3 name, but the end of it is definitely 達人 and not 意思, so its ‘something something experts’.

Speaking about the sales, does anybody have a comparison or a link to figures showing how other recent fighting game sales have done in Japan? I know first ASB’s first week sales were roughly 3-4 times other recent fighting games, but what about subsequent weeks for those games, or better yet lifetime sales in Japan?
