Please tell me there’s a simple way to buy DLC from JP PSN?
Isn’t that fake?
I mean those are all colored manga pages
no idea, just reposting what I saw.
Make a Japanese PSN account, buy a JPN PSN card, then redeem the code.
As for whether or not that scan is real I wouldn’t be surprised, even if it wasn’t real Bamco released plenty of DLC characters for Gundam EXVS on PS3 and I could see them riding this game for awhile seeing how they’ve been promoting the hell out of it over in Japan. Well that and they can put off stretching it out for sequels so it doesn’t get tired like those Naruto Storm games.
oh it’s that easy? i thought it’d be more hassle
Actual people! Using their hands and minds to play!
Oh god, it’s a dream come true! Blocking! Combos more then Easy Beats! People with brains! No screaming annoying idol chicks! It’s literally a dream come true!
Not to mention the match was super hype, CC2 really ,REALLY captured the feel of an actual battle in the game, all the little things added together in this great little dream reinactment. So cool!
Things I gleaned while i watched it during my morning coffee-
*DIO burst is, as I suspected from before, only during Stand OFF.
*Jotaro’s time freeze, when used on a OTG opponent, creates a juggle state that at least allows GHA to hit! I thought this was by far the sickest thing in the vid. it was like… LMH CMD normal xx Cinematic Special into hard knockdown, time freeze into GHA
*Jotaro’s suck-in move apparently can also blow out? I don’t know why you would ever do this with Jotaro though, @_@
*Jotaro scored a CH air to air, then juggled with a standing light when he landed. Given what Leebee has already pointed out with Kak’s emerald splash, it’s very likely he could have gone much further with it.
*Last but not least, Dio can hit himself with a car, lol
edit:
also… is it just me, or is Dio ONLY bursting heavy normals? D: I almost wonder if this is a different build (more current!?) because the guard bars, if i’m not mistaken, were not gradients in other vids…
The guard bars have been that way since the start of the CPU League Tournament.
The thing I take away from this is how the juggle system works. Landing an air hit, connecting with a jab, then doing an overhead reset ala Third Strike. The other thing I thought I saw was Star Finger being unblockable at full charge (0:52). I could swear Dio was blocking high and it still hit. Maybe I’m making it up, who knows.
So there’s word that Famitsu gave this game a perfect score. Dont know if there’s any truth to it. If it is, the check must of cleared in time.
I laughed quite loudly when I read this, I’m gonna have to start using ‘…the check must of cleared in time’ in my daily vernacular.
and, it turns out, you are right. http://0taku.livedoor.biz/archives/4520435.html
Whats going to be the Jojo’s endgame? High damaging combos? Building meter? Knockdown into guessing game?
Uh… so in today’s live show in ustream. It appears that the customize mode of this game freaking amazing.
Like, you can customize the taunt, the winning phrase and special wording effects.
And well, they showcased two character mainly. First is Dio Brando, since he is a vampire, some of his move can drain his opponents life bar. Furthermore, it appears that some of his moves can freeze the opponents for a brief moments. Another one was Pucchi. Pucchi has a command that let him charge the level-up(gauge) and when the gauge is full White Snake will upgrade to C.MOON automatically. and After changed into C.MOON and charge 2 heat gauge, the GHA will allow to change into his final form- MADE IN HEAVEN (but it take sometimes so I think it can be cancelled by the attack of the opponents). In his last mode, the opponents will be slowed permanently, his attacks, his movements, his everything. So basically, MADE IN HEAVEN = Death I think?
People are taking the piss out of Famitsu lol: http://i2.minus.com/jyST3noCNIIdK.jpg
Anyway, it was pretty cool seeing Jotaro sucking Dio into the car and the gameplay was so much better than what we’ve been seeing so far. The content of the game seems great as well, so even without competition in mind, there’ll still be a good amount of stuff to play with.
jesus christ made in heaven TOO STRONK
although I think the only way you’d be able to actually get the activation off is by supercancelling a move that blasts the opponent back high and far. if C-Moon got dat, he might have a way in. unless it as super armor or something.
i think getting to C-moon already is a tough hill to climb, also prepping meter for MiH AND getting off that full animation seems incredibly unlikely too me. Kind of a awesome ‘what if’ though.
Well, it appears that Pucchi has a lot of move that can knock back the opponent, which is great because it buys time for him to upgrade, I think the time the opponent wake up and run near him or shoot projectile will be enough for Pucchi to charge about 1~2 meters for C.MOON. and well, the game in 2 out of 3, so even if you can’t see Made in Heaven easily, C.MOON will probably see play after the first round I guess?
C-Moon seems slow though lol. His big knockback punch looked like it had hella startup. Well actually I’m sure you can combo into in on second glance, I mean from the League vids I thought PB Dio’s rekka’s were too slow to be combo’d but the idol chicks were doing it no problem (sure it was just through easy beat, but it was a combo none the less).
Developer match with the dio v. jotaro match posted above, but also has Guido v. Nanarcia at the beginning.
Some cool things to note:
*Well, lots of puttstun combos into GHA.
*Guido using GHA to punish one of Aerosmith’s specials on block
*Guido 5AB comboing on airborne Narancia… so now we know. Any sort of air hit is probably gonna lead to a juggle regardless of what the starter is or how it hits, so long as you can execute it.
*Whiff canceling in this game is going to be the thing that fucks up some people’s combos execution wise, lol. One point dude went for Gudio ABC Gun shot and did the gun shot too early, canceling the shoulder rush before it could hit and allowing the opponent to block.
*Some of the puttstun combos seemed unnesscary, actually, but I’m wondering if you can’t super cancel into GHA normally and HAVE to use puttstun? Narancia did ABC CommandNormal Special (puttstun) GHA. The special hit once so it really seems unlikely to me that that’s as good as just going command normal > GHA, or letting the special hit fully into GHA or… I dunno. How many days is it again? lol
Since it seems like health in this game is standardized, here’s pretty much all I’ve been able to notice as far as damage avoidance/reduction. I didn’t include corpse parts for Gyro/Johnny because I have no idea if they actually do the same thing for them that they do for Valentine.
Small- we’ve seen moves whiff over this type of character due to their height/posture
Burst- For a cost of a resource, user is able to escape from a combo. Differs between Bursts.
White Damage- Recoverable health that immediately is lost if user is hit while he has it.
Horse- We’ve seen combos that otherwise aren’t possible on Horses because they have different animations/reactions to certain hit stuns.
Damage tiers/modification
Koichi- Small, burst (stand off)
Johnny- Small, Horse
Shigekiyo- Small (assumption here, seems likely to me.)
Diavolo- Burst (stand off)
Dio- Burst (stand off), White Damage from all specials/supers
PB Dio- White Damage from all specials/supers
ACDC- White Damage from Ripple
Wham- White Damage from Ripple
Cars- White Damage from Ripple
Hermes- White Damage (Sticker removal)
Gyro- Horse
Valentine- Corpse Parts damage reduction
