SD like a monster and you’ll be fine, though.
Seems I can’t find anyone from Europe online. Yesterday I played my friend but he doesn’t really like the game, so doesn’t actually want to play it anymore. I kept my lobby open, someone with 2 bars joins. It lagged like crazy. I couldn’t even do the easy puttsun cancels with Dio Brando, super jump cancelling didn’t work at all. even connecting with his life drain move after rekkas was impossible. Come to find out the other guy was from the US, so that explains it.
Guess I’ll just train myself against the CPU for this game, cause really the online is just too awful.
I wish the training mode of this game was better too (record/replay being my most wanted feature).
Thanks for the stuff on Dio guys, I actually already knew that stuff
I picked him up because I wanted a straightforward character to learn for the tournament.
I bet I’ll face some guys that do something I’ve never seen before and be out of the tournament in no time, but can’t say I didn’t try then
*There was a lot of EU guys when the game first came out, but since it’s been a few months I don’t know how many there are. I’m pretty sure there are a couple of EU guys around here, I think @Boodendorf is from the Eu and may know some other EU guys who still play ASB.
If all else fails, when you go to the tourny you can always network with the guys who are there for the ASB tourny. *
i’m EU and i used to play everyday online, but it started to get empty little by little… netcode is really shit, especially when you play offline with friends and then go back to online
great game. horrible netcode…just don’t blend well
In case anyone still plays this game, here’s a couple of tricks and combos I came up with.
EU PSN currently has the Prestige Edition (full game + all character dlc) on sale as part of the “Hot Deals” sale going on right now. The sales price is £19.99 (buying all the character dlc costs about £15, so you are paying £5 for the base game), and the offer ends on 11th Sep. If you haven’t picked this game up yet, now is the time.
So, with EVO on the horizon, there may still be interest in ASB (at least the people running AnimEVO would be willing to endorse it) so if people are willing to bring setups and what not, I’m sure the people will come. Unfortunately I won’t be coming this year, so I won’t be able to run anything. However, I still believe that if we pool together as a community, we can breathe some new life into this game. So, who would be willing to help bring setups and interested in running the tournament?
Also, tweet @Anime_EVO on Twitter and show them you’re interest in this game! It’s never too late to get ASB at EVO!
I wouldn’t be able to help run it, but I’d enter for the hell of it.
This game is currently on flash sale for less than 5 bucks on PS3. I dunno if any one still plays it, but I just bought it.
Does anyone play this game anymore? Im interested in Giorno and Mista! Well I went over to the JJ ASB Community and they have specific character forums. Hopefully that will get me started.
The community is ver divided and scare at this point, you’ll have to rely on scheduling match making and networking with players. Their a youtuber called armagnus who regularly uploads match video of the game. Maybe a discord group will help find player
if it exist.
