My god, can’t believe I’ve ignore Jolyne until now, that mobility and space control is amazing.
Seriously godlike pokes which can be SJ canceled to run away, start a combo or continue pressure aerial pokes which can do the same and work as freaking instant overheads and the ability to just go “yeah sod that jump in attempt, my planet needs me” are just amazing.
And even her stand off isn’t too bad with 63214 attack and 22 attack.

EX Luck and Pluck has armor for the entire duration. I recall a time where I watched in horror as it took the entirety of Hol Horse’s super and kept coming.
For some reason I thought you could only putsun the first hit of EX, but I don’t actually play Jonathan, so I could be entirely wrong about that.
Pretty sure you can puttstun the last hit (You can on normal one for sure) but I don’t think you can puttstun the second one?

Is it just me or is no one playing this game online in both Ranked and Player matches? Every time I try to find a match I have to host one.
Downloaded this game yesterday…freaking hooked! I want to learn Guitar dude, he seems super hard to learn though, the campaign stuff seems like a pain though

Interesting, just have to learn his ins and outs and when to charge up the electricity, I also like Jotaro and Joseph (Young) a lot. Pucci’s playstyle interests me as well.
Anyone know the timing for the S.On after j.H in Gappy’s BnB?
Haven’t been able to actually get it down.
Make sure to hold foward or backward while doing the stand transition (and doing the jab from the S.On)
Just noticed one of Jonathan’s taunt lines is ‘Your words are as empty as your soul!’ in reference to the infamous Castlevania SotN scene, which could be a callback to one of the R-souls in Aria of Sorrow being Stand-esque and shouting ‘Ora ora ora!’. Well played, Bandai Namco.
Unfortunately can’t find a screenshot anywhere, I just saw it in a match.
*I’ve been practicing this lately, and getting some better results than I did at first. Maybe it’s just me, but just holding forward after the jump in connects wasn’t yielding the best results. I actually do better tapping forward as soon as I land and then hitting S into the jab chain. When I tap forward the stand animation from the Jump H recedes faster, which allows me to hit S.On earlier. *
1v1 lobbies killed this game for me. It’s a shame because the roster is 10/10.
