i sorly underestimated Dc4 love train. here i am trying to deal with pressure thinking counter and Stylish dodge as my only defensive option.
I wish you could puttstun S.On DP with Valentine, because then love train’s overhead would lead to full combos, haha.
It’ll never ever ever happen, but everytime I land that overhead and realize all I got was 6% for an unsafe move, I cry a little.
welll S.On Dp while in love train can be use as combo ender. Its actually his better ender higher damage out put, i think the knockdown distance is good. Also it becomes a legit AA and one of the better ones in love train buff.

So, until I get to test this offline with a human (likely tomorrow at some point), some info on Johnathan’s Sword of Lucky Bullshit:
*EX is overhead and has armor
*third hit is puttstunable
*If you block the third hit and he puttstun’s, he’s at mad frame advantage (this is the thing that I need to test offline- i sure as hell couldn’t jab out of it afterwards)
*Shit’s stupid
Online I’ve basically started treating it like a DP, neutral jumps are pretty boss against it and of course if he dosen’t have the bar it’s always unsafe. I also suspect that you can SD between the swings but I was too busy getting hit by it like it was an actual mixup to test that.
Anyone know how do you unlock Old Johnathan Joestar for use in Arcade Mode? I bought the DLC and beat the story mode…
there’s no old jonathan joestar… i guess you mean old JOSEPH joestar? in that case, you’ll have to wait till campaign 2 is available to use him

looks like campaign 2 is available on NA psn store and it will unlock ALL the campaigns!

Aw yeh, this is gonna be exciting. Gonna get all them alternate costumes. Incidentally, I’ve heard that the schedule for DLC characters is going to be moved around a bit from the original release, so Ikuro from Baoh is getting released along with Lisa Lisa. Is that true? I’m not too sure on the DLC stuff because I think it’s operating slightly differently in the EU (I can’t seem to find Old Joseph on the PSN Store for one thing, even though he’s apparently been available for a while in the US).

My one goal today was to upload the video from our recent biweekly onto youtube, and as you can tell from my lack of upload, I failed. Apparently youtube won’t let me edit videos over 2 hours long, and my video editing program has crashed three times today at 99%. needless to say, I’m going to have to break it down into smaller chunks. The game audio also completely fucked up. So, uh, sorry about that. At least I know why it happened and can prevent it in the future.
That being said, i can at least share results. Turbovec suggested I do commentary. I’m really not sure when I’ll have time this week,but if I do, I’ll probably just do grand finals and loser finals, which’ll give me at least the opportunity to do some self-reflection on my mistakes, haha. Not sure if anyone else would find it useful to hear me say ‘here’s where i fucked up’, but it’ll help /me/, damnit.
