Why did you choose yang?
I hadn’t really intended on playing Yang, I was going to focus on Makoto. After spending some time with him, I started to really enjoy his playstyle. His buttons are all pretty good, his pressure is great after a knockdown, he shuts down fireball characters pretty easily (Except Guile has been giving me problems), and his combos are very reliable. In summary, he is a just a really solid footsie oriented rushdown character to me 
What you hope to achieve?
I’m hoping that I can achieve a very solid neutral game with Yang and deliver incredible offensive pressure after a knockdown. Similar to how I play Makoto, but the neutral game is a little more viable with Yang IMO.
What other characters do you play? Akuma (a bit rusty with him lol, but I still am above average with him), Ken, Makoto, Cammy.

Why did you choose yang? - Mained him in 3S, I like his reserved, laid-back personality, like how he has so many tools, options, mixups, etc. that makes Yang feel like this creative, dynamic, character, and Yun to me comes off as just a mindless, aggressive character in terms of how he plays.
What you hope to achieve? - To know this character in and out, to know every little intricate detail about Yang, and to just be able to compete at a decent level of play.

Why did you choose yang?
Cos I was thinking of a secondary to choose since I only play one character seriously atm. Yang seemed like a pretty cool addition to the game, so I thought why not!
What you hope to achieve?
To become a solid player with Yang and to improve as a player in general.

Only Cody, play a bit of Guile and I’m considering learning Akuma and Dhalsim atm.

What you hope to achieve? To be as good at Yang as I am at Guile.
What other characters do you play? Guile. (I was once the 16th ranked Guile on XBL and I never rage quit.)
I just can’t believe how much I suck with Yang. It goes against my years of experience using Guile. (mained Guile ever since SFII). I thought the general experience would transfer over but…alas, that’s not the case. I can’t even get past 700 player points. I was around 4000 with Guile.

Why did you choose yang? I thought he was a pretty cool character when I first saw him. I also like how he a bit more easier then ibuki is. mentis slashes are awesome and addicting.
What you hope to achieve? To At least do somewhat well, and master him. Understand my character more then I did with ibuki.
What other characters do you play? in my super days, I played a lot of Ken and ibuki. However, I broke out and learn the game…somewhat… I end up sticking with ibuki. I loved her mix ups 
Ps: I am pad player and yet to understand OS…I only know how to Tech Throws, but not very well.

Level of Play: This vastly depends on the character and the game. I’ve been playing SF for about 20 years, and I’m around upper-mid in ability. I just started Yang in SFIV, so I’m a little shaky, but not too bad, as I played him in 3S.
Why did you choose yang? I always run at least two characters in any game I play, and seeing as how Yang was one of my favorites from 3S, and I wanted to pick up a new secondary character…it was only natural.
What you hope to achieve? Mastery of the ins and outs of this character. Hopefully make some contributions.
What other characters do you play? I also played Gen and Akuma in vanilla and super, and bust them out every now and again. And of course I also play Dictator, and have been for close to two decade now.

Why did you choose Yang?
I never really played vanilla or super, and in AE when I saw Yang I fell in love, his style is sexy and design-wise I love him.
I enjoy Yun’s playstyle as well, but his hat is ugly omg, and I enjoyed Yang more anyways.

Cammy was my ‘main’ in super, and in this game I would consider her a strong sub/alt-main. However with that said I’m bad with her too x3. I need to hit the lab with her as well as Yang, but those 2 are my main interests.

I love the mixup and pressure he has… seems to have good footsies (which im working on getting stronger in) …he seems well rounded also

I wanted a dive kick but I hate the design of Rufus and I liked what I saw of Yang more than Yun when watching AE matches before it came out on console.

Why did you choose yang?
Well when I was a kid I was not allowed to play videogames (the whole videogames-melt-your-brain phobia), but I always bought magazines about them. I saw a picture of Yang on one of them and thought (given the fact that I was into inline skating back then) “How cool would it be if I could play this game and this character”. Roughly twelve years later, here we are

Hope to achieve: better understanding of the game, and stop losing so easily online. Also to learn rushdown, im a total turtle, I remember games where I was blocking rush down from a ehonda with my yun for a solid 12 seconds straight… I wasn’t exactly proud…
