After this event,SRK should ban TL / John Nelson from posting events on here. He needs to be added to the Tournaments/Venue to avoid list made by Bisonopolis.

glad i have no interest in watching this tourny seems like crap and from what i heard the people who are hosting the event are scumbags (This post pretty much cleared it up and explained why people are saying hes a scumbag).

In the SCR 2010 documentary by Redrapper, TL is John Nelson’s only gig as he is a stay at home dad while the waifu works. Well with all of this crap happening…
For the record, my stance at Triple Threat was that if there was no prize money for the winners, John Nelson should have given the equipment to the people owned money to as collateral until the balance was paid. shrug
As for SCR, I was allowed into the venue and then kicked out by John Nelson and his goons because I refused to apologize for putting him on blast. (Why would I apologize when I wasn’t the one that didn’t have the money to pay people out? LOL 
)
In retrospect, however, that was a blessing in disguise because I had already called a limo for Lap Chi from Canada Cup, myself Mike Ross, Combofiend and a slew of other notable faces. So I returned to the venue in the limo and swept away a lot of the big names, after which we proceeded to party at Skybar in Hollywood. :rock: And that ended up being the foundation for the relationship built with Lap Chi and Canada Cup, which lead to awesome times in Canada! :wgrin:
I actually had forgotten about the Team Hori debacle lol, but all of that is true.
Anyways, next time someone asks me if I’m going to Revelations, I’ll just point them to this thread since I wasn’t going to take the time to lay it all out as nicely as Jeff did.

To clarify, CEO didn’t have shady TOs,
CEO was started because of a shady TO for another tournament that ran off with gamers’ money after they’d made arrangements to come to Florida for the tournament.

No wonder the place looked pretty empty. I also heard spooky refused to go out there. NY doesn’t want any of that!
so Haz (guy running the stream) just got on and said kof players demanded the prize pot be handed to a 3rd party before they’d play in the tournament. tournament organisers said they didnt have the cash (could quite easily be true) so kof players went home. good on those guys for sticking to their guns.
To add, this happened in 2010 the first year of CEO. So the whole GAMME debacle didn’t even affect 2011 CEO.
