Dude, we were ALL skeptical when it first came out, especially since most of us watched the 90’s cartoon. TRUST ME, it’s worth the watch. The only bad thing about it is it got robbed of a third season.
That’s the point. It’s a reminder of the sins that Joe Q has commited against Spidey and MJ.

Hmm, is it just me or does Spider Man seem worse in general over his previous incarnations? I know we can’t judge a character’s ability based on one minute of footage, but from what I’ve seen, to me, he looks pretty slow and punnishable… He does look fun though, looks like he might have so decent mix-up game with his web slings when partnered with the right assist…
Spider-Man seems way better than his previous outing, just like Captain America. Web dash into stunned opponent seems highly useful. With a good anti-air assist he could even web dash from the ground into a stunned opponent in the air. What else does he need?

I’m actually worried that Maximum Spider may end up being his level 3 since it has a pretty flashy cinematic quality to it. Any chance of this? I’m hoping not because the comboability of it looks nice and it is just too cool of an animation to hide away as a level 3.

I had a stupid grin on my face when I saw Spidey in Marvel again. 
That web zip seems like a really useful addition to keep up in their face, and Ultimate Web Throw does a shit ton of damage! I know Amaterasu has crap health, but damn. I only need Storm now for my rushdown/space control team. Spiderman/x-23/Storm, awww yeaah.

They all appeared to be Lvl1 Hypers, so he probably has a new Lvl3 Hyper.
The only characters I can think of that is returning that HAVE gotten a new super are Iron Man and Morrigan. Unless I’m forgetting someone…
Edit: I actually think that Maximum Spider could end up being his level 3, it has that dramatic theater-esque movement that seems to be typical of level 3s.
