What if certain costumes make characters say certain dialogues?
I ask, because I haven’t heard original Spider-Man said that.
He’s all like, “Look out! It’s the Spider-Man! :D” and Symbiote Spidey is like, “With great power comes a great beatdown! >:(”. Totally changing up Uncle Ben’s famous quote.
I’m thinking for pre-fight dialogues, taunts and win quotes for these certain changes, but tag-ins could change as well?
Ehhhhh… someone… anyone… just post a YouTube video of normal Spidey saying “With great power comes a great beatdown.” to prove me wrong please.
I think it’s just a new (and alternate) entry quote they gave him, since that is the newest build of the game that we’ve seen so far. I honestly don’t think it has anything to do with Spencer either. Sounds too generic IMHO.
Spider-Man says ‘Look out! Here comes the Spider-Man!’ in one of his intros. The other one he says to Spencer is generic I think, but Spencer’s is ‘You don’t know nothin’ about swingin’."
Anyway, I think unique dialogue for different costumes would be pretty cool, but I think Spidey’s quote is just normal.
I guess we’ll see at the next Fightclub.
His new web zip and combo versatility is gonna help him A LOT.
Yeah at first I thought the quote related to symbiote Spidey because it was badass, then Spencer came out with “You don’t know nothing bout’ swinging”. Unless it’s just another normal quote and Spencer’s exchange is one way?
More quotes in general would be awesome, especially if they made it so Deadpool could alternate between his old and new fight quotes. Any reason why they couldn’t do this?
Yeah they’d be nice, but the Spencer quote makes me doubt that. Most likely a unique ‘vs Spencer’ quote or a new normal quote. I hope the latter because that means we’re in with a chance of multiple alternate quotes.
It’s probably BS dude. I’d imagine they’d have all the official character art by now, so why Capcom would be using text place holders (or why they’d even need a visual placeholder) is beyond me. Besides, authoritative sources would not make the mistake of labeling Spider-Woman as a ‘Spiderman’ franchise character.
