killey i sent i a f/r it went pending for like 5 days
I thought I mentioned this before but I donāt play BB on the 360. I donāt often play my 360 and itās usually for console exclusive titles to the 360. Next time I turn my 360 on (which may be months from now) I will accept the friend request.
Sorry, but I canāt use 360 pad for fighters at all hence why I donāt bother buying any fighters on the 360 when a PS3 version is available.
Didnāt know you were a pad warrior. Neato.
Iām in ur forums, puttinā up batpoles :3
rei we go back n forth all the time in Ranked ā¦ dont u play Rachel ?
and butter i sent u a f/r to a while back it went pend for like 4-5 days ā¦ i dont have much room left so if its goes pending for a while i jus cancel it
how the fuck do you beat kune and litchi? also a defensive ragna gives me fits, itās like all his moves have more range and are faster. plus hell fang seems unpunishable.
help?
I was away at DC for about a week, which is probably why I didnāt get the chance to accept, sorry about that.
Against Kune: A DP is your friend.
Against Litchi: Donāt try to outpoke her. Bait her DP.
wuh?!?!? killey u play on pad too? i thought i was like the only one lol
I play on pad too.
Hi everyone,
I have a (small) question considering Jinās BnB air combo: j.b, j.c, jump cancel, j.c, d, 214c
After I do the j.b do I jump again for the c, or do I just have to input the C, since Jin is already in the air ?
Iām sorry if this is already asked before, didnāt feel like reading 13 pages atm. And I just got the game yesterday, so Iām not familiar with it at all (havenāt played the GG series either).
Woah waoh waoh, Killey plays with pad??
=0
Pretty unprecedented, never seen a pad player with such extensive knowledge of a fighting game.
I mean, I know a lot about BB and I play with a pad as well, but I got most of my info from him!
xd
For that particular combo, you set it up usually with a 6C->Dash->5C when you land the 5C you should super jump, instead of regular jump if your having trouble landing the first j.c. but honestly, you shouldnāt have to super jump to land it, if Iām not mistaken. Mainly, just work on your timing, spend time in the training mode against different chars (different chars tend to have slightly different timing, so keep that in mind)
so im supposed to delay the j.B? i was trying it and i dont know how to time that. i either do the j.B too late (doesnt combo with C) or i do it too early (j.D wiffs).
to make the air bnb slightly easier (assuming itās after a freeze) I just** j.c > dj.c > 214b**. It skips the j.b after the first jump but you donāt have to super jump or time the first attack. Itās really easy (I see Buppa use this combo all the time after a freeze).
If you donāt freeze your opponent and launch them off a counter hit instead (ex. CH 5c > 6c > DC > 5c). You can do a regular jump j.b > j.c > dj.c > j.d > (delay) 214C with ease.
Hahahaā¦Yeah, you havenāt been playing that Litchi match up as much as I have lately. That Kindaul player we had 2 days ago lives in my area and I beat him at our last tourney but thereās another tourney this saturday and Iāll probably have to face him again there and Iām not looking forward to it. Iām winning these sets pretty soundly like 19-9 but this is not an easy match up for me. You have to a solid defense and know what to look for. The corner mix up is too deadly and I havenāt found a solid way to defend against it.
Iām going to have to test some things with Litchi in training mode to understand how she works. Once I do Iāll be posting an extensive match up analysis.
With Ragna you have to understand that heās fishing for counter hits a lot of the time so understand his frame traps and just play defensively. The first hit of Hellās Fang is a -4 on block but Jinās fatest move 5a is 6f while 2A is 7f but Ragnaās 5A is 5f and his 623C is 7f with invincible frames at start up so itās best to not even attempt to punish Hellās Fang as heāll set you up for frame traps. If you IB it then you can punish but if not just observe the Ragna player and be ready to buffer in a tech throw. If he does the 2nd part to Hellās Fang itās very punishable.
In general Ragnaās moves are faster than Jinās and he has good frame trap set ups as well. Itās best to play defensively and use j.B a lot to close the gap. His aerial game is pretty weak so you can usually win air-to-air against him. Just have to properly zone him but his rush downs are pretty nasty.
I had a post several pages back on the Arakune match up. Honestly, you really have to know Arakuneās set ups for curse and how to avoid his bees. Itās more about understanding how Arakune works then anything else. DP is your friend in the match but a solid rush down on Arakune limits him from doing anything. He needs to release a button to launch a bee so he has to negative edge during before he gets put into a block string in order to try to break out of your rush down. Personally, experiment with Arakune in training mode until you get an idea of how he works. It should make the match up a bit easier.
can someone plaz tell me how the combo staring w/ jb comboād?? i diddnt hear counter or see it for that matterā¦ the combo is 29 secs in to vid
he comes in w/ jb and launches the 6c but how ā¦
From what I can see, that Nu just didnāt block right, I also didnāt notice any CH, so the only thing I can think of is he just forgot to block or something
oh? rly?
Well, I mean, donāt quote me on that, if you wanna know for sure, wait for Killey to hop in here, heāll give you the low-down.
C-6C combos on crouching.
Ahhhh, right, dually noted
