Yes that should make that link a little easier. Same for anything involving cr. MP. Which is good news for me as I like to link to cr. MP after the Kazama 6 Hit as opposed to his 1-2 punch or whatever.
I hope youâre wrong about his parry. Taking unrecoverable damage for it would be awful. And it would make no sense really; why would you take damage from a move you just parried?

Iâve never found that link to be very difficult, although doing the sequence of c MP to c HP during juggles sometimes I mess it up lol
I imagine Capcom thinks the Power Stance is too advantageous because youâre free to cancel it during most of the active frames. So you can âabsorbâ an aerial attack and get some heavy hits in w/ good enough reactions. In any case, the absorption never really comes into play since itâs mostly there for swag combos; I donât see it becoming an asset unless they changed damage scaling. Personally, I never used it.
I find that very easy in juggles, its just on the ground I have problems with it!
I think it has some wonderful uses and Iâve been trying to incorporate it into my game a lot more lately. You shouldnât look a gift horse in the mouth!
Iâd love to see some tech evolve from it, but I canât see any practical use for it once this patch hits. Before, I could see it being used to counteract odd jump trajectories like Chun Liâs, but now that Leaping Side Kick no longer trades with air attacks, itâs an attractive option, even more than before.
But, like you said, an additional special move is gift we shouldnât overlook. Guile only has two and both of them got nerfed. >_<;
We donât even know if it takes damage yet! It could be as I hope and take no damage.
The practical uses I find for it are absorbing things like Heihachiâs nonsense, Hugoâs charge, Blankaâs ball and Juliaâs dash punch, stuff like that. And cancelling it after a blocked poke when you think your opponent will attack or be mashing. And if theyâre not, them just cancel it again to something else and see if they take the bait a second time!
I used it when Julia did her fullscreen mixup for example. Also use it when people have predictable blockstings, things i normally couldnât punish become punishable. Also definately think Capcom means unrecoverable health when absorbing attacks.

Yes i donât hoping that too! Iâve picked him up from the very beginning, i was really new in the FGC (less than a half month Street Fighter/Fighting game experience). Iâve worked hard with him and i liked him just how he was! IMO he was the most underrated character ever. And what will i get for all these hard work i put in Jin in 2013? Just alot of hatemails, calling me noob and tier whore!

Well here is the changes video for our boy Jin. Everything seems to be coming together pretty well for him, although in my opinion the power stance when used right taking no health is a little OP.
So he actually doensât take damage when in PowerstanceâŚthat is dumb and a random buff. Still doesnât make the move any better in it application than before though.
It does make it a good deal better IMO. I have been special stepping->backdash to deal with fireballs from afar, but after update I will incorporate power stance->cadc or power stance->special step (To counter the next autopilot fireball that is often coming because the opponent throws a new fireball as soon as the first one is negated). Also power stance->fireball will be good. I could do this before too, but I chose not to do it a lot, since I knew the gray life could come back and bite me, but after patch I will do it without a bad concience at all!

I have some difficulties with his RU, sMK xx PS xx HP MLD. One hit of the HP MLD seems to miss due to the adjustment of the MLD, you might have to use cMK instead of the sMK but its pretty difficult.

Also does the wave dash uppercut hit them lower now? Some of the combos I did here seem harder now as well. You can deff tell duck hp and stand hk are faster. I think problem is for a lot of combos where now you can more easily add duck hp, before you could still get duck mp then link to something then special instead. I wish you could link off far stand roundhouse too. Bummed that doesnt work still. It really should.
