Long story short but thanks to Spiral, Matsuo and Mandarin messing around Psylocke and Revanche traded bodies. Revanche is Japanese, Psylocke is British. That’s why Psylocke looks Japanese and has a British accent, she’s wearing Revanche’s body with some alterations. The Legacy Virus eventually killed Revanche, who was wearing Psylocke’s old body at the time.

edit: wait a min. Now that i recall a bit of psylockes story… i’m wondering about the asian chick in x-3;. Psyocke or revanche? since the actress was asian.

She was credited as Psylocke, but the director said that she was a random Mutant not meant to be Psylocke. Deny, deny, deny.
