Back from vacation and the shop opens again tomorrow morning. Until then, here’s a Panzer Fight Stick that I built today! First Hitbox style I have built and played on… what a crazy difference than a stick!
What feet are on that one?
Those are the standard rubber feet
Shop is back open! Thanks for your patience and understanding while I was on vacation!
Can’t decide between a wide body panzer or a lindhberg astro layout. Got time this weekend for a drive by? I’d love to see both before buying.
I am actually going to be down in Richmond Thursday-Saturday. Sunday should be good in the afternoon.
Just want to give another shout to Jasen. I really appreciate your attention to your customer’s needs. Thanks for going the extra mile.
Thanks iNENDOi! I have a few things coming out this weekend that I think people will like. Should make buying/building a Panzer Fight Stick just a little more simple and easy
A new art piece thats going out today:
I don’t do flashy product announcements. I make cool stuff and sell it. This weekend I added a few SANWA Items to the shop at record low prices because I love the community and want to save you money.
What are they?
Sanwa JLFs - $19.95 each.
Sanwa Clear Balltop Series - $3.99 each.
Sanwa 30mm Push Buttons - $2.95 each.
Is that it? Nope. There’s more coming. Stay tuned for more new hotness coming soon. I may be adding prefabbed stuff to make your Panzer Fight Stick build easier, but I have a few more tricks up my sleeve for custom projects and new things.
$20 JLF? Goddamn, that’s a good price.
Thanks! I try to make it worth everyones while to give me a shot!
Thanks @Chananigans for stopping by tonight and looking at the “shop”. Im excited to see what you end up doing with your new Lindbergh Panels when you get them.
This weekend is going to be a very busy weekend for JasensCustoms.com! I have a lot of new products that I will be launching at very affordable prices. It’s all hush hush at the moment, more to follow as it trickles into the shop. Facebook followers will understand what I mean… cleaver folks will figure it out.
I appreciate the support through purchases, recommendations, likes, shares, wtfs, lols, and more. I love our community (extended well beyond SRK)… I get new ideas from you all the time and suggestions daily! I am truly thankful for the family of satisfied customers all around.
Till later…
Hello Jasen,
I have a few questions about the stick.
I know I don’t have to get it but what is the DB-09/DB-15 port for exactly? And how do you decide whether to get a male or female port? I heard something about a ‘Super-Gun’ and Neo-Geo but I don’t really know.
Just to clarify, if I use the universal mounting plate to mount a LS-32 in the Panzer fight-stick, the stick will have the appropriate height?
Is that internal base/stand for the PCB standard or was that a unique customisation?
The Panzer fight-stick doesn’t accept screw buttons at all? I was going to get Seimitsu screw buttons but I may have to get push buttons if that’s the case.
And lastly, I was wondering if it’s possible for you to offer pink as a colour option? I know it’s not the manliess colour but hear me out here.
You see, I wanted to build a stick based on the PS2 Arcana Heart stick (the one with the pink, white, and yellow buttons: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7994/snc00093m.jpg). It’d be cool if I could order the top part of the stick with that new glossy white colour and have the bottom be pink.
And then maybe some vinyl artwork similar to this: http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/238/589477-aino__2_.jpg
Combined with a pink, white, (or even that swiry white and pink one that used to be on paradise arcade) ball-top, it looks pretty cool in my head anyway.
The DB15 port allows you to have a direct connection to the buttons/joystick for external encoders or the NEO-GEO System or even a SuperGun. No encoding of the controls is needed for the SuperGun or the NEO-GEO because the respective hardware determines what you are pressing by sensing the ground connection when you close a switch.
For the LS32, its designed to fit on a metal panel at the right height so no spacer should be required. Admittedly i have little LS32 experience as a sanwa guy so if someone corrects me, that would be great (if I am wrong).
The PFS can use any buttons that are short. The screw in seimitsu will work perfectly fine
I can do pink but I have to buy a batch of it at $250 to do so. The shop stocks specific colors that are widely used by a lot of companies… unfortunately, pink isn’t one.
That vinyl art would be perfect. You could do a solid white case top and bottom with that art work and it would look sick complimented with a pink button set and the butteroj balls.
Damn, that’s some expensive paint. If I’m the only one that wants it, then yeah it wouldn’t really be worth it.
That makes me wonder about demand though. Am I the only one to request a colour that wasn’t listed on the site? I do agree that it’d look good even if it was all white. I just really liked the contrast of the white top, red bottom stick you showed earlier in the thread.
I’ll probably stick with the push buttons anyway. I can’t seem to find screw-in Seimitsu buttons that have a flat-top.
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. You missed one but I think I know the answer already. The internal mount for the PS360+ isn’t standard for the PFS right? So I’d have to buy rubber feet or something to secure it in the case?
I believe the PS360 mount is standard.
Yeah, I figured it out right after I asked. My bad. Thanks though.
That’s a good feature.
Thanks prez! Yes the mounts are standard on every stick.
Got my Astro-Bergh panel today, it’s beautiful. Thanks again for doing such awesome work for the community.
I think your best bet would be to go white or black and use vinyl to make it pink.
