I really like this stuff, so please don’t stop kicking down links!
found a bunch of supercar on soulseek today. good stuff!
damn i wish i could find a place to download jinen tracks
Asobi Seksu is pretty damn amazing. Their from Chicago I think, but their lead singer is Japanese, so there ya go. Look for their debut album which is named, most surprisingly, Asobi Seksu. They’ve got a second album too, called Citrus. If you like Shoegazer, then try these guys out.
Pretty cool
Been listening to the first two songs the most. I’m taking it CotD will be the break out band of this genre if they aren’t already?
Even though this stuff is too hip for me I’m still :lovin:
fuck nice work, thanks
Apparently this is a Narasaki of CotD. I guess it’s a side project of his.
Anyone confirm, yes or no?
Yes. Sedesper Record actually. (answer like ten years later). Still nice to find in a search, and re read and remember that I actually used to be here often.
I’m extremely tired, and will probably post links tomorrow but:
Hologram (Heavy shoegaze)
-Myspace (The computer I"m on sucks right now, so I don’t know what’s on their playlist. If it’s there though, listen to UANO-SORA, XX, HARU or Asagiri.)
Kibaco (Dream Pop/Post Rock)
-Myspace(Same situation as Hologram, except my album is written mostly in kanji, which I can’t read. Just listen to whatever…)

Audio Safari (Dream Pop/Shoegaze)

-Myspace
The Lemon’s Chair (Shoegaze for those that like The Album Leaf)
-Myspace
Euphoria (Post Rock. Eternal Gift From The Moment & White Patterns albums only)
-Myspae (If it’s there, Moment, Shining, Fairtale Landscape, Ferriswheel and Seabed Curtain are dope.)
Miaou (Post Rock, but kinda Shoegazy too)

Water Fai (Post Rock)
-Myspace (You Are The Sun & Kaiyon are recommended.)
Toe (These guys are a bit too hard to be “blissrock” or even Shoegaze, but they have one very beautiful song that is nice & soft.)
(I think there might be a youtube video of the original vocals, which are male. This one is great though.)
-Myspace
I think most of the artists here, and probably most in this thread, would be considered Post Rock, if not Shoegaze. I could be wrong though.
Anyway, Audio Safari and Kibaco are especially recommended if you enjoy Highvision by Supercar. (SOOOOOOO GOOOOD!)
EDIT: Updated.
I’ve been rocking to the Royal Pirates lately.

EDIT: I have no idea if they’re underground blissrock or not.
Updated my previous post with links.

Not sure if these guys are “Blissrock”, but the are very interesting:
(Note: All this stuff gets pretty epic if you give it some time. Kinda like MONO.)

I’m more of an angry noiserock guy in the vein of Boris and the Boredoms, but I’ll check these guys out. Thanks for the thread.
Never heard of the term ‘blissrock’ before but cool thread.
Probably going to see Boris at ATP perform Feedbacker (seeing Boredoms as well) and might be seeing Mono at the end of this month. Maybe even Melt Banana but dunno yet.
Just thanking Koatl Great posts my friend.
