I’d just like to inform everyone that Subculture has closed down about a year ago, and Monkey House has closed down (and is now a fucking hair salon… out of the literally hundreds in one area) has closed down about 7 months ago. I hate how it closed down right when I moved literally 10 minutes walking distance from it, ugh.
The major place for 3S in Fukuoka now is Game Greenland (ゲームランドグリーン) which is south a station from Yakuin station, and I doubt any other gaijin go there or know about it. It’s literally covered in plants like a botanic garden and unless you can read Japanese, you’ll totally pass it as there’s nothing video game oriented about the outside, but inside is a hardcore arcade with mostly 2D fighters and 8 3S machinese.
Deshiken plays here now and a few of the OG’s from Fukuoka, but I rarely go because that shit is a bit out of my way and dudes be busy.
anybody know of any place i could find some interviews of :rx,kuroda,and momochi ?

There’s an interview with RX in Brazil. I dunno about Momochi, but there’s a Kuroda interview in the 3rd Strike Match Vids section on Nicovideo, split up into 5 vids.
…which reminds me, I’ll try to get those translations done some time this week. haha
