I’m pretty sure I’ve asked this before on these forums a long time ago but I’m looking for Street Fighter players in the Tokyo and Saitama area who frequent game centres. I’m relatively close to places like Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and Takadanobaba while also some places in Saitama along the Seibu lines.

I do have a few pretty decent SF RL buddies that hit the game centres here as well as PSN. More competition the better we all get.

I introd before but many things match up w/what Higashibashi is lookin for.
I live in Chiba and work in Saitama (near Omiya, Utsunomiya Line) and have PS3 (and 360).
Still in the process of movin from SC (Soul Calibur II-IV; 10 year playa) and playin SF.
Switchin (still play some SC) cause Talim’s not in the game and hardly anyone’s on SCII HD.
If a new SC comes out w/Talim I’ll be on that pronto and 100%.
SF’s probably always got someone online and is in every arcade.
One of my JP friends (God of Pad, Shen) just won the SCII HD comp in EVO (if you saw the side comp in the Mad Catz booth).
After March next year my place in Chiba should be open for gamez occasionally (son is 3rd yr HS so has to study for uni exams so house is closed for business).
Also have a friend that can play SF near Ageo (but he doesn’t seem to like the game so much).
Also hopin to hit the arcades (prob in Aki and Shinjuku but anywhere in Tokyo will be OK).
Wanna be above a button masher so am still pracin (when I have time and am not workin, the process slower when you work 6 dayz a week).
Gonna be hard (impossible?) to catch up on a game that I never played, where others have years more experience on.
Have most of Aug off from work so should have lotsa time to do more things then.
Will be more ready after Ultra hits console next month (and I get some prac time on it) and then hope to start things rollin.
Don’t drink but love food and if others drink a little it doesn’t bother me.

I’m moving soon to Japan for work, from August I’ll be on the island of Shikoku. I doubt it, but are there any Persona 4/Blazblue or Melty blood players here? I dabble in UMvC3 aswell.

The guide is really helpful but I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to sign up for USF4 in particular. Cheers for the help.

Living in Seoul. First trip to Tokyo this Saturday (7/26 - 7/31) - certainly not my last. Staying in Ikebukuro - playing at Taito Station South Shinjuku. At home, I play on Japanese servers as does all of Korea. Xbl: shania twajn

I am with a group of people in Takadanobaba quite frequently and we can do Shinjuku as well. Safari in Ikebukuro is also really good for USF4.
I would reccomend:
Takadanobaba - Mikado
Ikebukuro - Safari
Shinjuku - Sportsland or Taito (over by Greanpeas not the one by Donqui Jote)
What’s up Everyone. I’m kind of out a ways in central saitama area. My closest game center with USF4 is about 35 min away in Omiya. I go there once or twice a week. On Thur nights there is usually a good turnout of fairly decent players. If anyone is ever down to meet up let me know. I’ll try to make it out to some Tokyo stuff once in a while as long as my pockets can handle it.
Ya that is hella far man… if you ever make it out to one of our Takadanobaba getups I will buy you a beer!

I can’t do gamin Thur nights though, my arcade night is usually Fri.
On SCII in Aki Try Tower Amusement Fri nights (just got back from some now).
After Ultra hits console hopefully I’ll be ready for some Ultra arcade action (the SCII gettin fixed at Try is gonna cause a problem here…).
