Yeah it was. I run RanBats and offline gaming up here in Misawa, so I kind of play (and try to be the best up here) at every fighting game, but I’m pretty naturally good, so I don’t really practice games I don’t care about, I just kind of win at them. Persona is one of those. Like BlazBlue I studied for about a week hardcore, learning frame data and tactics and what not, good enough to place like top 20 at NEC in Philly, and then just stopped playing. That’s basically my plan for Persona as well, but one of the players up here was able to whoop my ass pretty bad with Kanji, and I feel it mostly revolved around that grab. I felt pretty helpless to it. The only games I actually study and practice are Tekken and Street FIghter.
Im down at yokota ab and don’t have a scene. Netplay is my only real option so if and when you’re down to play online just let me know.
I’ll be uploading some videos from a yu player that completely shut down my offense. Might help you out.

I just asked anyone that looked slightly nerdy on base if they played games at all and were interested in coming to my house to play fighting games. Now I’ve got about a 15 man scene. Any American I see in the arcades I ask. I hope Yokota is better than Misawa. I was a Japanophile as a teenager, now I kind of hate Japan.
I played at the arccade the other day and just did Jack and Lars. Playing Jack just feels natural for some reason… and I like Lars’ for some reason. I might just pick up Kazuya/Devil/Heihachi just to get a traditional Mishima player learned. Jin changed too much from T4 to T6…
Right now… I will probably juggle TTT2 and SC2 until I pick up P4A or SG has a better Japan scene. I will never drop 3s and I just want CVS2 to get on PSN somehow…
Ill try my best to make it to FRB …tournaments start too early for me but I’m down to shake hands and play casuals…
Its 50/50 for me it all depends on whether or not this one student I have shows up…#eikawasarelame
Man u have no idea…
I want to learn 3s way bad but anytime I ask no one wants to show me how to play. Ken looks like so much fun in that game. I love CVS2, I wish more people played it honestly. I don’t know any good Kaz/Devil players to watch to see how he’s played, so for the most part I just outzone and punish. Heihachi looks like a fucking beast but I want to play Devil Kaz (DK). Jack should feel natural though, he’s such a beast, but they made all of his best shit from T6 way less good…
New to the forums. Not new to Japan. I already contacted ProudDisciple.

Alright I’m about to go do a photoshoot and when I get back I’ll hop on and add you.
added you!
Just out of curiosity.
Does anyone know any Foreigner friendly strip clubs in Koriyama City,Fukushima.
I didn’t see any rule against this sort of question and I apologize in advance if there is one that I was unaware of.
If anyone is getting on AE on PS3 today/tonight reply to this thread. I would like to finally get some games in with some people on here lol. It’s rough out here on these PSN servers…sometimes
Not sure… but white/black gaijin or Asia gaijin would make a difference of who lets you in.
Titty bars in the west and Japan have completely different styles of titty bars mind you. If you start to feel queezy, pay your bill and get to the nearest Koran.

hey, i was wondering… do you guys know of any japanese gaming forums like srk (or tekkenzaibatsu, 8wayrun, etc)? they don’t necessarily have to be fighting game forums. if not, that’s cool; i’ve just been doing searches myself and it hasn’t been so easy.
Ok, so it’s confirmed, I’m coming down to Tokyo for the Tokyo Game Show, I’ll be down all weekend, Friday through Sunday and leave Monday morning. If anyone wants to meet up, get some games in, hang out, I’d be down. I’m mainly going because I’m 90% sure I’m going to win the Dead or Alive 5 tournament.
What exactly is the scoop on TGS? How do you get tickets? Where? How much?
