Where in Japan are you going?
I’m moving to Kyoto in the beginning of november and am planning to frequent a-cho when SSFIV hits the arcades…Hope I can get some wins in this time around (got slaughtered there one year ago, but I was superfree back then I guess).
Hoping to add some of you guys to my XBL friendslist when I arrive!

Thanx Reno! How far is Gigo from the Citibank/Mcdonalds in Shinsaibashi? My girl has a pad close to that area and I would like to sneak out sometimes to get a few games when I go visit her. I would go to Avion more often, but it’s like a 15 minute walk for me and I can’t be out of the pad for more than half an hour w/o her; she hates games :(.
Looking for the best places to play in Nagoya~

Recently, I moved to Nagoya to participate in a local study abroad program. I will be here until May of 2011, so if anyone is able get together and play a few games, that would be great! I was actually at NSB as well (only played casuals because I didn’t have a team), so I may have met some of you already! If we haven’t met and you live in the area, feel free to reply or shoot me a PM~ (special yoroshiku to Zyx and Token686 who appear to live in the greater Nagoya area)
Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my xbox with me, so, for the time being, I’m stuck playing SF4 in an arcade near Kanayama Eki. I would really like to get back into playing SSF4 before Dec., so, please, hit me up!
On another note, if anyone has information about where smaller tournys are held here, that would be very helpful as well~ Supposedly, Nagoya’s level is pretty high, but I haven’t been able to find where the best are getting together yet. 
If I come to Japan, will not speaking Japanese be a problem? Is Russian spoken often in Japan?

as you can see, hiropon didnt use seth j.hp(sims limbs) at all, this is because he didnt want to make it a habit to use a move that will no longer be available in the arcade edition.
I hate to be that guy who’s bugging people about teaching english in japan, but I graduated college in august and i’ve been considering doing just that, especially now that I can’t seem to find full-time work in the broadcast industry. problem is, I just can’t find any solid info on where to start looking or anything. Most info seems to be 5-8 years old, talking about companies that are bankrupt now. I just thought i’d see if someone here could help me out just finding a place to get started teaching in the tokyo area. if someone could shoot me a PM with some info that would be awesome, and i’ll buy you dinner when I get there, haha.
so i went to club sega shinjuku last night , no one playing vanilla arcade ! thing wasn’t like that in hong kong . im really suppressed that no players were playing it
is there any arcade that near from shinjuku station and have sf4 vanilla arcade with players still playing it ?

Shibuya sportsland went under after several attempts of holding 300 yen free play to get good players there. just not a good location.
kaikan is in the gutter a bit, they moved everything from b1 to 4, witch sucks cause that whole line of fighting games was really nice rather than being crammed up on the 4th floor.
Are you still Geif in SF4? I bet sho is all for Yun hugh?

registration deadline 23rd(tomorrow) 1pm.
1200yen per team, tourney starts 12 noon but players have to be there by 1130am.
winners will get a special custom title while the rest will also get a custom title they can use.
