another thing, is there a thread in this forum where people just post links for matches. i play tekken and tekkenzaibatsu has a movie vid thread, and i can’t find one here.

The rock, geese, rolento MAY be Kitiini. He qualified for sbo and he was in those vids with desiken from those Mokeycup tourneys

Yeah, it was Kitiini (Kichini) that used A-Rock/Geese/Rolento.

Also, Team Ryuu Naki Densetsu (sorry, my translation skills are pretty shitful) aka Team BAS went up and won against:

Looks like N-Groove is making it’s comeback in Japan. Also, there was something mentioned about Daigo’s team, but I don’t have time to look over it because I gotta get to class. :lol:

maybe N-groove making their comeback, but ino’s team had to go to freakin’ okinawa to get their invite to SBO2 (notice only 4 teams entered!)… shows how tough the comp in japan is.

Well, comp IS rough but there’s also the fact that there are NO more qualifying tournies in Tokyo until the very last day I think. Pretty prudent of Ino’s team (and Bas’) to not wait till the last tourney to try to qualify.

from wat i’ve seen back then, Tokido is a turtler. But judging from his new team, it looks like he switched his style to rushdown.

Another team qualified. I think it’s Shiro’s team. They used:

A(sakura,Hibiki,Blanka)
C(Sagat,Guile,Cammy)

That’s definetly Shiro’s team, but I’m not sure if it’s him or not. Perhaps a different alias? Anyone know for sure?

3 teams i’m sorta familiar with have qualified recently.

  • Daigo’s team (daigo, shiro, dan)
  • Ver’s team (Ver, Iyo (now using c groove instead of n), dunno the other guy)
  • Rai’s team. Rai is the K mai, hibiki, sagat player in the acho vids. Dunno Who his teammates are.

The “other guy” on Ver’s team is Yuu… the OG C-Kim/Rugal player. All the other Kim/Rugal teams in Japan are biting off of him.

I dunno about Rai’s team though. tougeki.com hasn’t updated yet.

Kinda late, but here’s the latest team to qualify on 3/15:

Shokkoku no Jaguar

VER - A-Joe/Maki/Chun-Li
Morikawa - A-Sakura/Bison/Blanka
Iyo - C-Dhalsim/Maki/Rolento

Morikawa switched Hibiki out for Sakura and Iyo’s playing C-Groove instead N-Groove!? Must have been to balance out the team. Or something.
